The Evil Destroyer Goddess Mahakali
k1.jpgGoddess Mahakali is a prominent incarnation among the incarnations of Goddess Durga, the mother of the whole world. The main goal of all incarnations of Goddess Durga has been to protect human beings, gods, sages, saints, and so on from tyrants and to ensure the well-being of all creation. The incarnation of Goddess Mahakali was also done to liberate the universe from the fear of tyrants.
Just as Goddess Saraswati is the goddess of learning and knowledge, and Goddess Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth and splendour, in the same way, Goddess Mahakali is the one who destroys the oppressors and establishes peace in the world. The Goddess Mahakali is given the name Mahakali because of her formidable form and brilliance. Mahakali is the real death, providing the sinners and oppressors with the fruits of their misdeeds.
Rudra's form has a blood-coloured body and a garland of male heads around her neck. Goddess Mahakali destroys the wicked and gives salvation.
That is, the one who assumes a formidable form, who adorns with the blood of tyrants and goddess Mahakali wearing a garland of sinners' heads. She is the goddess who frees the world from sin by destroying the wicked.
According to the Vedas, Puranas, and other religious texts, the complete story of the incarnation of Goddess Mahakali is as follows:
At the time of the Holocaust, the entire world was submerged. The work of creation stopped for some time. Lord Vishnu started meditating to start the cycle of life again on earth. Thereafter, a lotus flower appeared from the navel of Lord Vishnu. Lord Brahma was born from that lotus flower.
