Introduction

We have all been through some hard moments, right? So, where do we begin to draw the line? At what point do we decide to take back our lives? These are the questions I asked myself many years ago.

As a child, I learned to express myself through my love for arts via singing, interpretive dancing, and writing poems. At the age of sixteen, I was trying to figure out my role in this journey called life, as bullying and violence around me made me question my identity. One poem I wrote was titled The Mood of Air. For the first time, I am sharing this poem with you as a reflection of how we can evolve further than our current situations.

Brighter Days Ahead was created to help others move in that direction by shifting our perception of what hard times are about and how that moment makes us stronger and wiser.
