    plural noun: haiku

    -a Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.

    - Haiku originated as an opening part of a larger Japanese poem called renga. These haiku written as an opening stanza were known as hokku and over time writers began to write them as stand-alone poems.

    Maybe I will be 

    unable to wash my hair 

    tomorrow, again.

    I kind of forgot 

    to write last night, worse things have 

    happened, I suppose.

    I found out I am 

    Getting my lymph nodes checked soon 

    Let’s hope I am o-

    Kay, so, ultrasound

    Next. Someone was disapproved-

    I only wish you 

    had gotten stuck with someone 

    that you could have loved

    Happy Mother’s Day.

    We had carrots, my head hurts. 

    Tomorrow- results.

    Monday, May 10th (7) 

    My friend has a cart 

    named mart. we made plans to take

    Over the world soon.

    I got a new pill, 

    and finished reading a book 

    that ended on a-

    began one that started quite

    I was gifted a 

    Collection by a stranger. 

    I can’t make this rhyme. 

    Friday, May 14th (11) 

    I got bit by a 

    Horse and spilled red dye on my 

    Blanket. This isn’t fun.
