Chapter 1
The beginning (part 1)
Another normal day, I would say. My parents leave and go to work. I have to go to school to do stuff. Pretty normal right? I don't think so. My parents go to work, that's normal. I don't mean to sound dramatic or anything, But what they do kind of concerns me. They come home tired. It's not how parents look after coming back from work, and my parents come back very late. They come home so late. My mom has to make dinner in the morning just so I don't have to wait for her to come. My parents aren't very touchy about work. They don't talk about it. This is why I need to find out what they are doing in that kingdom. I feel like there is something going on. This is just to let you in on what's going on. Diary entry #45
The beginning (part 2)
It was a Friday night, I think. I made checkpoints of where my parents go when they go to work. It was at night so my vision was limited. On top of that ,it was foggy. Despite that, I still wanted to know what they were hiding. They are the only family members I have. They don't even talk about my close relatives either and those are some serious red flags that I need to look into as well. So I ended up wandering around a forest. I hit a wall. My forehead was buzzing after that. It hurt a lot since I was basically walking in blind.
I looked for an entrance and it seemed as if there wasn't an entrance. Pretty weird if you ask me. Could they have a secret entrance? I tried to look some more until I saw a hole almost half a mile away from the place I bumped my head into.
I entered that entry point and I was led to what looked like a park. It was empty. I was the only one there. I think it was 21:30. It took a while to get here so I assumed it took a couple of hours. I saw someone standing alone. He looked like a pretty tall guy. There was something about him. He turned his face in my direction. It's like he could see me but he didn't know where I was because every time I moved to another position, his head followed me too. This man's face began looking astonished. Started feeling like I couldn't move, which was kind of scary. The guy was literally coming in my direction and this is the time to be paralyzed? Besides my panicking, something wasn't right. I felt… pain. Is this normal?
I thought. No. No. I tried to move back a bit but it was as if I just gained 6000 pounds. I eventually fell on my back. Everything became blurry and I woke up the next morning.
It was a weird dream I had. My parents quickly disregarded it. I finally got the courage to ask what they were doing there. They said that they are maids. They serve the king directly so they did not want people to know about their jobs because people who work there get kidnapped and are used as a bargaining power to get whatever information they want from the King. At that point, it was the first time they told me about what they do at work so I was pretty happy about it. They even went as far as stating that they had a skin condition that hurts them when they're in the sun? I think. A whole day passed and I was satisfied. But I began being so eager to go to that kingdom myself. They have so many stories that they come home and tell me I was just so excited. First time I told them about it they were not happy about it at all. They said I shouldn't. That's when I began getting suspicious again. I began to think that I'd have to just go there anyway. Just for self-satisfactory purposes. Yeah, and I'll bring a friend just in case something happens. It was hard to convince any of them because they were convinced that anyone who goes to the kingdom goes missing, but finally I found a friend who was kind enough to help. although I would have preferred someone else.
The beginning (part 3)
Torson is woken up by a kiss from his mother, Anneson. She tells Torson that she is about to leave to do her work in the kingdom.
Can I come too? It's boring here
asks Torson
No Torson you can't.
Replies Moya, his father.
But I am so bored here. Please! I want to see the royal family and tell my friends that I've met them.
No Torson, that's final!
Moya raises his voice.
Why!?
Torson replies as he starts crying.
It's not safe out there, trust me
Moya replies.
We'll see you soon, Torson. We love you
Says Anneson
Trust us. Whatever we're doing here, it's to protect you.
Says his father
Okay, dad. I understand…
Torson replies.
They hear someone knocking on their door. Moya and Anneson begin to panic. Torson begins to wonder what's giving them such a panic.
Relax, it's just the door. I'll go get it.
says Torson, trying to calm them down.
No Torson. Stay away from that door!
Shouts Anneson.
But…
Go to your room,
says Moya.
"Another thing that I noticed. My parents never let me answer the door. Especially if it's someone we were not expecting. I've been keeping note of how panicky
