What Is Cruise Missile
A guided missile employed against terrestrial or naval targets is known as a cruise missile. This kind of missile stays in the atmosphere for the majority of its flight path, and its speed remains relatively constant for the most part. Cruise missiles are specifically engineered to accurately deliver a large warhead over great distances and with great speed. Modern cruise missiles are able to travel at high subsonic, supersonic, or hypersonic speeds, are capable of self-navigating, and can fly on a trajectory that is not ballistic and very low in height.
