My writing instructor in college recommended that I look into pursuing a profession in writing. Because I enjoy exploring new places, I decided to pursue a career in the Navy. I didn't start writing until many years had passed. Writing has become my go-to pastime as of late. Writing thrillers that focus on multinational coverups and conspiracies is one of my favorite things to do.

Visions of Yesterday - Henry Lee Sherman

    Chapter 1

    Cave and Woman

Each falling snowflake brought to memory the snowy days at Woodbine College thirty-five years ago. It brings to mind my dearest friend, Laura Hutchinson. Our internship was with Brightlane Chemicals. This vision took me to my college graduation thirty-five years ago. She never told anyone where she was born.

Laura Hutchinson was taken by a man and a woman on her graduation day. Laura was never picked up by the same person. I therefore asked Laura how many people made up her family during Thanksgiving break. Laura said, Don't ask me questions if you want to be my friend. This answer kept coming back to me for years.

Whenever there's snow on Wells Lake, I'm left with a few questions in my head. I took a deep breath and gazed out at the snow-covered trees. Whatever the case may be, I'm convinced she's been kidnapped for years.

I said her name. Therefore, I could offer her a graduation gift. She did not say farewell to anyone. She just didn't look at me. The tall man is wearing a grey coat and the green-coated woman is holding Laura's arms.

There are a number of questions that need answers. How come she didn't say anything? Also, why wasn't she running away? Or is Laura just trying to protect me? The truth is that her real name is Laura Hutchinson; I must respond to these questions. Laura Hutchinson describes several locations in the United States, but I just recall Seattle. Was there any connection between Woodbine College and this conspiracy? Woodbine College will be my next trip.

Woodbine College was in a small Arizona township. I headed to the administration building, which was packed with people I didn't recognize. Things were obvious when I arrived here 35 years ago. In front of everyone, she was abducted.

I will open the door. Good morning, madam, I said. A voice from the partitions speaks. The name I go by is Jennifer Wolf. Mrs. Timmons was murdered a decade ago. I am called Jack Morrison.

Laura Hutchinson is a friend of mine. I never know what to think of our graduating class. Laura was unable to attend the graduation ceremony. When I called her, she didn't look at me? I reach for my black rucksack and open it. Please browse through the yearbook. Mrs. Wolfe, please. She glanced over each page and immediately opened it. What do you see now? I questioned Mrs. Jennifer Wolfe. I didn't see her picture, Mrs. Jennifer Wolfe declared.

Because of the fire, all records from the previous 35 years were lost. Is it at all possible to get my hands on the files from the past 35 years? Would you mind showing them to me if you have them? There's a moment of reflection going on with Mrs. Wolfe. It is not known to Jack Morrison that the prior administration building was destroyed by fire 35 years ago.

There was a ring on the telephone. Mrs. Wolfe walked up to the phone and picked it up. She moved closer to me and gazed directly into my eyes. She told me, You're finished with your questions. Thank you for your patience. There are some things that must be kept hidden.

My associate, Mrs. Darlene Vargas, will escort you away from campus, Mrs. Wolfe said. Don’t ask Mrs. Vargas, any questions? Mrs. Wolfe explains. I experienced a cool breeze when I got into my black Corvette. They kicked me off campus, where I earned my degree. The fire destroyed 35 years of files. Then there was Seattle, which Laura Hutchinson mentioned.

Before departing for Seattle, I put in some time in the mountain cabin I own in the Rockies. I questioned whether I had gotten myself into an awful amount of difficulty. I served as a Naval Seal commander before retiring. My instinct told me that I should travel by myself.

It is not my intention to put anyone in harm's way. I have no doubt that my former brothers in arms would be up for an exciting new experience. Given that the Navy Seals are trained experts, I am confident that there is nothing I won't be able to manage. I sincerely hope that I am not giving an incorrect account of what is happening. In order to bring in my friends from the Navy Seals, I need additional answers.

My journey to Seattle began at an ungodly hour on a dreary day in the middle of winter. I sat down and consumed the morning meal. I am moving through a thick cloud of white mist.

I will bring military equipment with me this time. I was driving a dark SUV. I suddenly had a memory of something from the past. I was traveling to Seattle by car. It seemed extremely risky to me.

As I climb the slope, I look around for any unusual vehicles that could be nearby. I decided to pull over at Point Sound to obtain some gas and check to see if anyone was following me. The feeling in my heart told me that I might be ambushed. I want to find out the truth about what had happened regarding Laura Hutchinson.

Upon my arrival in Seattle, I made my first stop at 1441 Circle Drive. I can't believe there isn't a single car in the parking lot. One individual made his way up the hill. If I could ask you a question? I told him I was looking for 1441 Circle Drive in Seattle. I want to know specifically if there was a house there. Even the city of Seattle is in the dark about who owns the property. As a Navy Seal, I know this from my training. I needed to get out of Seattle as soon as possible.

I pulled over at a Fast Lane service station to get some petrol. I get in my car and start driving on the freeway because I am extremely hungry.

In the restaurant, there was a sign that indicated the distance in miles until the next possible warm dinner. That was the reason for my decision to leave. I chose a cupcake and a cup of coffee for my order. I was so bored that I ended up falling asleep while drinking my coffee. Either someone gave me a drug, or I dozed off and fell asleep.

When I opened my eyes, I was inside of a cave. In the cave, there were three people in total: two males and a woman. I questioned them about what it was that they wanted. They stated that they will ask questions later. The woman laughed and told him, You're out of your league.

Today, many results can be achieved here. I was curious, so I said, What do you mean? A man says, You're not in a position to ask questions. I was struck by a gunman. The woman said, The one you're after doesn't exist. Keep getting involved in classified stuff.

The man who seems to be running things says, I know about these naval friends. You are in no position to ask questions, he says. A gunman struck me on the head. The woman explained that the person you want does not exist. Keep dealing with classified business.

The man who appears to be in charge says, I'm aware of your Navy friends. We shall kill you if we re-encounter each other. You persist in interfering with what is secret. Allow me to flee, the woman added. It seems that the man did most of the talking.

If you could get away in under an hour, you could have a chance at living another day. I responded by saying, Hold on a sec. I'm blindfolded and handcuffed. One hour was the time he gave. A woman walks up to me, and I immediately notice that she has a pleasant aroma. "

If we run into each other again and you continue to interfere with what is confidential, we will put an end to you, they said.

The woman continued by saying, Let me make it possible for you to escape. If we run into each other again and you continue to interfere with what is confidential, we will put an end to you, they said. The woman continued by saying, Let me make it possible for you to escape. The guys oversee the situation.

If you can get away from the situation within an hour, you have a chance of living another day. I said, Wait a minute. I'm also blindfolded and handcuffed at the moment. He said One hour! A woman who walks up to me radiates the aroma of roses.

She inserted something icy into the space between the handcuffs. The woman was the last person to exit from the cave a minute passed.

At the entrance to the cave, the woman uttered, One hour. A clock could be heard ticking just inside the entrance to the cave. I believe that it's a bomb. It was necessary to understand what one hour meant. Now to unlock the handcuffs. I unlocked the handcuffs with the keys to the woman's slip in my hands. The black box ticked. I know that bomb might cause an avalanche. The whole town would be destroyed by the avalanche.

When I first saw the bomb, the cables weren't attached to the device. It was a challenging thought to put everything together. Think of that mystery woman who risked her own life to save mine. I departed. As I'm leaving, I mutter to myself, Something to think about if they'd ambushed me. My head is spinning, and my heart is racing.

My eyes were drawn to the Fast Lane Gas Station after about a mile of walking. My four-by-four vehicle was located at the top of the hill. I asked a few questions at the Fast Lane gas station. According to the server, it's time to leave. My car will take me down the hill. It is time to call in the Navy Seals. I'm checking to see if anyone from Seattle is keeping track of me.

    Chapter 2

    Fire and Darkness

Imust think of something . After the dangerous trip to Seattle, I could smell daffodils and azaleas in the air. You should visit Bright Lane Chemicals. I feel it in my heart. I video chatted with Douglas Oliver, an old naval friend. They trained Douglas Oliver for weaponry and surveillance. Douglas Oliver could have helped me in Seattle. It's been years since I spoke with Douglas Oliver. I knew Oliver was a traveler. I'm switching the laptop on. A call came in.

One woman got on the phone and said Mrs. Timmons, the registrar of Woodbine College, was killed 10 years ago. The Timmons case has not yet been resolved. After the woman finished talking, the telephone clicked.

Next was the journey back to Woodbine, Arizona. Two stops ahead. The first stop was Woodbine police. The second stop was Brightlane Chemicals. One question pops into my head. Could this woman on the phone be setting me up?

The person who murdered Mrs. Timmons may still be at Woodbine. Am I walking into an ambush? I shall call Douglas Oliver when these two stops are completed.

Upon arrival in Woodbine, I stopped at the Woodbine Police Department. There was a plaincloth detective at the desk. Good afternoon, my name is Jack Morrison.

I'm Inspector Phil Garner. What can Woodbine Finest do for you? "

I told Inspector Garner. I want to ask you some questions about Mrs. Timmons, former registrar of Woodbine College. Asked by Inspector Garner how Mrs. Timmons died, a lady called us. The Timmons gate was open. After speaking to her neighbors, we knew that she always locked her gate. Have you ever spoken with the lady who gave the report that Mrs. Timmons was killed? She hung up. I told Inspector Garner I got a call from a woman.

They said that Mrs. Timmons was killed. Inspector Garner said something weird was going on. I was like, Go ahead, Inspector. Mrs. Timmons's home was in disarray. Her laptop was gone. She uses a laptop for part of her college work at home.

Inspector Garner said: We interrogated people at Woodbine College to discover that this was leading to a dead end. The case has become cold since the records were destroyed in the fire. We have a 35-year gap in the files and a cover-up. He said, What are you up to? I didn't know I could trust this guy. even though Inspector Garner was open to my questions.

Are you the only one who has questions, Mrs. Timmons? I asked him who else had questions about her. A woman and a guy with a weird accent

They have Swedish accents, and they wear gloves in July. Walk away from Inspector Garner and say thank you. I'm coming out of the police station.

When I recall my trip to Seattle, both the men and women in the cave had a Swedish accent. Before I leave for Brightlane Chemicals, I'll head back to my cabin in the Rockies. I don't want to cause trouble again. Look into Bright Lane Chemicals later.

Arrive at the cabin and enter the living room. I know that I am involved in an international conspiracy and coverup. I know this case will get me into the most dangerous games. I'm on my way to my computer and I'm calling my old friend and Navy Seal, Douglas Oliver. Douglas Oliver has been travelling overseas since his naval retirement. He didn't say who he was working for and kept it a secret.

Log in to my email account and find Douglas Oliver's email address. It was difficult for Oliver to communicate because it took him three days to respond.

Tell Oliver everything that took place in Seattle. Three days later, I got an e-mail from Douglas.

Oliver said he could meet me in 3 weeks. He told me he had unfinished business.

I told Douglas Oliver that Laura Hutchinson disappeared following graduation from Woodbine College. Should I go back to Woodbine and check
