For a Peaceful World, the greatest heritage books that contribute to cultural and personal development, Stories Based on Philosophy and Psychology, are books that question life and existence and make you think. Stories that will open your horizons that you will read with pleasure and that you will question yourself while reading are in this book for you.

    PSYCHIATRIST AND YOUNG MAN

The young man reluctantly sat next to the old man in the park. Because there was no other vacancies. He tried not to look at the old man. The park is very crowded today, the old man said. He turned to the young man with a smile. The man nodded with a slight smile. You know, said the old man, you're running. The young man turned to the old man in surprise. He thought the old man was mad or insane. But he was wondering. How so? said. You're running right now, said the old man, shaking his head.

He gestured to the man's head with his hand and said, Don't do this with the corpse. You do it with your soul and mind. Yeah! I wouldn't do such a thing, said the young man. You think so, said the old man. You've been shaking your feet ever since you sat down. You kept tearing your hands apart. It's obvious you're overthinking and stressing things out. How would you know that? said the young man, somewhat angrily. Or are you mind reading?

No, I'm a retired psychiatrist, said the old man, looking at the young man. I've talked to and treated many troubled people. I've helped people whose looks are great but whose inner world is just as disastrous. The young man stopped for a moment. Well, he said, what does it mean to run? The mind runs when it struggles with a thought, and we can compare it to a creature running around like crazy.

Well, said the young man, what should we do? The old man moved lightly, drawing strength from his walking stick. That's basically the problem with most people. Children who are taught how to behave from childhood are not taught how to control their thoughts. But don't blame your parents, they don't know either. Okay, said the young man, how is this done? Easy, he said, by watching. When a thought comes, watch it, be fully aware, and never participate in it.

Here are three steps in total.

    1-Watch the thought

    2-Be aware

    3-Never participate.

This can be very difficult sometimes. Because we may be in a state of panic and stress. We may be grappling with our anxieties. But this method will work even in these situations. Just don't give up. The only time this method doesn't work is when you're trying to block or defeat the thought. You're making the thought stronger. It's not bad to get it wrong. The worst part is that he's not in control. I said.

    HIDDEN OF HAPPINESS

A merchant sent his son to the wisest of men to learn the secret of happiness. After walking for forty days in a desert, the boy arrived at a beautiful castle on top of a hill. Our hero, who was waiting to meet a saint who lived here, encountered a feverish scene in the hall he entered:

Merchants come and go, people chat in a corner, an orchestra plays sweet tunes; There was a table filled with delicious food from all over the world. The wise man was talking to these people in turn, and our young man had to wait two hours for his turn to come. The wise man listened carefully to the boy's explanation of the reason for his visit, but told him that he had no time to reveal the secret of happiness. He told her to go and wander around the palace and come to see him in two hours.

But I will make a request to you, the sage added. He handed a spoon to the boy's hand, then put two drops of oil in this spoon and added: While you are walking around the palace, you will hold this spoon in your hand and you will not spill the oil. The young man started to go up and down the stairs of the palace, he went around the whole palace, but he never took his eyes off the spoon. Two hours later, he appeared before the sage. Good, said the sage. "Well, have you seen the Persian rugs in my dining room? Have you seen the garden the gardener took a year to create? Did you notice the scrolls in my library? Embarrassed, the young man admitted that he saw nothing. Because he tried not to spill the two drops of oil that the sage gave him, and he did not pay attention to anything else.

Then go get to know the wonders of the universe, said the sage. You can't trust a person without knowing the house he lives in The young man, who was relieved, took the spoon and started to tour the palace. This time, he was paying attention to the artworks hanging on the walls and adorning the ceilings. He saw the gardens, the surrounding mountains, the beauty of the flowers. When he returned to the sage, he described in detail what he had seen.

Well, where are the two drops of oil I entrusted to you? the sage asked. Looking at the spoon, the young man saw that two drops of oil had been spilled. Okay, said the sage of the wise. There is only one piece of advice I can give you: The secret of happiness is to see all the wonders of the world, but without forgetting the two drops of oil on the spoon…

    DON'T JUST DECIDE

There was an old man in a village. He was very poor, but even the King was jealous of him… He had such a legendary white horse that the King offered almost all of his treasure to the old man for this horse, but the man refused to sell it.

This horse is not a horse for me; He always said, Does a friend sell his friend? That's up one morning, no horse. The villager gathered at the head of the old man: You old senile man, it was obvious that they would not leave this horse to you, they would steal it. If you had sold it to the king, you would have lived like a gentleman for the rest of your life. Now you have neither money nor throw away" they said…

The old man said, Don't be in a hurry to make a decision. Say Just the horse is missing, Because that is the truth. Beyond that, it's your interpretation and your decision. Is the loss of my horse a misfortune or a chance? We don't know that yet. Because this is just the beginning. No one knows how his back will come.

The villagers laughed out loud at the old man. After 15 days, the horse suddenly returned one night… It turned out that it was not stolen, but went to the mountains on its own. On his way back, he brought the 12 wild horses in the valley after him. Seeing this, the villagers gathered and apologized to the old man. Father, they said, You were right. The loss of your horse is not a misfortune, it has become a state bird for you, now you have a herd of horses.

You are in a hurry to decide again, said the old man. Just say the horse is back. This is the only known fact. We do not yet know what will bring him beyond. This is just the beginning. How can you make up your mind about the book as soon as you read the first word of the first sentence?

The villagers did not openly mock the old man this time, but they thought to themselves, This guy is really stupid... A week later, he tried to tame the wild horses.

The old man's only son fell off the horse and broke his foot. The son who provided for the house would now stay in bed for a long time. The villagers came to the old man again. Once again, you were right, they said.

Because of these horses, your only son won't be able to use his leg for a long time. Yet there is no one else to look after you. Now you will be poorer and more miserable than before. The old man replied, You have the disease of early decision making.

Don't be in such a hurry. My son broke his leg. That's the truth. Beyond that, it's your decision. But how true is it? Life comes in such small pieces and you are never told what will happen after that.

A few weeks later, the enemies attacked with an army many times over. With a last hope, the king summoned all the young men
