It's hard to believe that 1997 is almost over.  So much can happen in just a few months.  The UPS strike caused me to think about how much we depend on mail-order for obtaining supplies.  It inspired the article on page 6 titled Shopping Near Home.  The article titled Understanding Plastic Containers will appear in the Winter '98 issue.  Many of us are concerned about giving gifts at this time of year.  The articles titled Gifts From The Grocery Store and Simple Skin Creams contain several ideas for easy gifts that you can make at home.

Gifts From The Grocery Store

Sometimes it is nice to get everything you need at the grocery store.  If you want to make cosmetic gifts, but don't feel like ordering everything you need, here are some recipes for you.  Most grocery stores will carry all ingredients listed except for the
