Rattan Hall Private University, set in the heart of the North Staffordshire countryside, occupied one of the finest campuses in England which naturally meant that it was also one of the most expensive – to the male sex at least. As a place of learning it was like no other for it took on only the most brilliant girls and the most underachieving boys – or rather the most underachieving boys whose parents were prepared to pay to ensure they achieved a good degree. At the heart of the university’s vision was discipline. Naturally talented girls came there to learn and also to lead, for they were expected to look after the errant boys, nurture their learning journeys and also to punish them if they ever happened to step out of line, which was frequently.

Emily was nineteen years old and a freshman at the university. She had grown up on a council estate and was here solely due to her academic ability. The high fees charged to the males meant that the university was able to subsidise their gifted female students and thus Emily was enjoying a level of learning she could never before have dreamed of as a naturally talented violinist and music student. She stood at around five feet two inches tall and had dark shoulder length hair and large brown eyes. Her nose was button like and she had full lips which naturally smiled. Her breasts were large but not overlarge and she had strong long legs and a cute, firm ass. All students at the university, male or female, wore a uniform from Monday to Friday and as it was Friday afternoon Emily was dressed in her short grey nylon skirt with a white blouse and a formal cravat in the university’s light blue and navy colours.

Emily’s friend, Pamela, had invited Emily over for tea at her apartment in the converted stable block in the grounds of the Georgian stately home which formed the university’s main building. Pamela, at twenty-two, was a senior at the university and also served a personal tutor to seven freshman males. She was a very short girl of four feet eleven inches tall with very long blonde hair that came down to her waist and which she usually tied up in a bun. Her face was pleasantly rounded and her eyes a light brown, nose slightly upturned.
