"Short Biography of author/illustrator Mr. Quinton Douglass Crawford is a happy educator that was born in Southern California, but now lives in Northern California. Taught in two private schools, in Sefwi Wiawso-Ghana for IFESH, two schools in Shenzhen-China, and proudly throughout the public schools in the FSUSD. His education includes three Associates degrees from Solano Community College, a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Chapman University, Primary Research Methodology Certification from Prof. Manu Ampim, and currently in pursuit of a Masters of Education degree from Concordia University- Nebraska online. Author quickly recovered from a hemorrhagic stroke, seizure and 2-week coma in 2018. Issues slowed down some life goals to teach in several other countries, but he attributes his strong recovery to alignment with SGI-USA, four classes worth of student letters/get well cards of concern from nearby David Weir Academy, staff visits, and multiple-faiths prayers of welfare from family and friends worldwide. Including the vision of my deceased father in heaven ordering me to "go back", while I was in the coma. "

An Autobiography of Mr. Quinton D. Crawford
Original Dreams...1971-1981
As a child I have had many dreams, some wonderful and some horrific. The first dream I remember having was of what appeared to be the formation of the human soul of both a man and a woman at dawn on the top of a foggy-clouded mountain similar to this Mount Mulanje near the roots of the Nile.
Another fantastic but growingly unclear memory is something more of a vision of the end of a past life where my mate and I were killed successively near each other unexpectedly while searching for food. This came about after a deep prayer for which I have forgotten. I have tried to see more into this but I could only go back as far as seeing the bodies for a moment but not hearing or feeling anything but the fear of loss and great change.
The next most memorable dreams were direct nightmares based on movies I shouldn’t have seen at the age my parents allowed me to see with them. The most terrifying one was very much like a scene of the later Nightmare on Elm Street as I recall it from when I was approximately seven or eight years old. The nightmare was very reminiscent of the movie IT
.
I recall that I was walking home for one of the few times I was allowed too when we lived in England. When I got to the door and reached for my keys I heard screaming in the house. I felt I should hurry to open the door, but when I did I saw family members body parts all over the floor and the evil looking clown struggling to hold my mom. Mom looked at me with unusual panicked eyes I never saw before as she yelled at me to run. I think that I then woke up screaming and had released bodily waste materials as I screamed myself awake. Believe I woke everyone in the house and threw up as well. I this I still remember at least spitting up with a bleeding nose, if not fully throwing up.
Since this time, I have hated clowns with passion.
My first instinct when I see a clown near me is to punch and kick it down. If I had a weapon on me the results may be disastrous, which is a warning to others.
I recall being tricked into attending a circus while I was in China. I told a co-worker about my issues in time to avoid creating an incident as two clowns approached our group because we were not Chinese. I was quickly helped out of the tented audience.
The next two most memorable dreams were also nightmares that I believe were stemmed from other movies I probably should not have seen as well as a kid. Think my dad was just trying to share some time with me. My next most memorable terrifying dream was probably centered around the 1970’s movie called The Omen
. During the time we lived in Spain and my parents purchased a picture which scared me at the age of 7 or 8. One night I had a dream that I walked home from school and my mom was just waiting for me to arrive so she could take my then baby sister with her to the grocery store for milk and cereal for my elder siblings. I was trusted to be able to make my own peanut butter & jelly sandwich and clean up afterwards. I had to wait for her to get back home in order to have something cooked like a grilled cheese sandwich or some top ramen noodles.
I watched out the living room window as mom slowly backed out of the driveway. It was like slow-motion as she drove down the road then turned right out of site around a corner onto the main road that lead to the store. After she did I realized that I was alone for a few minutes before my brother or at the time seemingly angry elder sister got home from school. Possibly my dad would be back from work early? I started to walk towards the kitchen but noticed that my parent’s bedroom door straight down the hallway was opening slowly by itself and there was no light in the room. I suddenly was paralyzed from the waist down and began levitating and moving feet first to their room. As I floated down the hallway I grabbed the open side threshold of the bathroom door to try to stop, but the pull got too strong.
I was eventually pulled into the lightless
