A better life? - This lifetime's sorrows are extended beyond life and return thirsty for more.

Ghosts in the attic – Along with "His match" and "The wind and the dogs" are the oldest triad of stories in this book.

Kill the messenger – The passions and ambitions harbored by a group of men in a small town. A story about intrigue.

Astrid – My favorite. The protagonist is a walking failure on the tightrope, but with a lot of luck and a strange sense of resignation.

Mimetic – A weird and particular story about a murderer who can't kill his loneliness.

His match – Frustrated swindle around a debatable invention.

The apostolate – Envious of his colleagues' talents, an amateur writer plots a clever plan, but it backfires. Irony, a bit of humor, and some blood.

The Cúcaros report – A horror story about researchers who try to elaborate insecticides against cockroaches.

Paranoia – Misunderstanding and suspicion ruin a couple's hope.
The wind and the dogs – A thriller story in a Victorian style.

I'll ring you and meet you – Mobiles are included, so it is a recent one. It shows that love can survive Apocalypse despite changing everything else.
