Chapter 1 – The mental health disaster
I don’t know about you, your view of the world or your mental health, but from where I am sitting the state of mental health is in great decline. From epidemic levels of mental health problems around the world and growing there seems to be, not so much light at the end of tunnel for those with mental health problems.
With medical authorities prescribing record numbers of anti-depressants, anti-anxiety and psychosis medications to supress the underlying causes, it’s no wonder the problem is growing bigger than ever before.
What is also standing out is the now much wider range of symptoms experienced by many with many mental health problems that are considered strange
thoughts, dark
feelings and people having trouble even understanding why they are experiencing such wide ranging abnormal mental health symptoms.
Further we are seeing now more than ever, that it is our younger generations of children and young adults, who are suffering mental health problems earlier in life than past generations.
Is this a decline in human mental health and what will be the result of such a disaster?
If we keep on covering up what is really causing these mental health problems, rather than looking at the truth and or what can be done to right this wrong, we are sure to never be the same again.
What is really going on with mental health?
Medical science’s approach to the mental health disaster is largely an approach to patch over the problems with medications designed to help cover up symptoms, which would be great if they were effective and didn’t come with their own set of side effects and toxicity.
Please don’t get me wrong, something is always better than nothing when it comes to mental health and I am not against mental health medications that help people deal with what life has delt them, in fact some people have no choice and really need the support of medical drugs for their mental health just to be able to function in the world, which is very important.
However, what I will say is
