About this ebook
Jimi Sheryl Bufkin
Jimi Sheryl Bufkin was born in Fort Worth, Texas. Jimi has resided in the Reno/Sparks, Nevada, area for fifty-six years. She has three adult grandsons and a daughter, Monique, who resides in Tracy, California. At age seventy-one, she has now self-published six books. Jimi’s love affair with words and the color purple has made her one of Reno’s most recognizable poets. She is a resident of Brookdale Independent Senior living in Sparks. Jimi writes about homelessness, love not found, loneliness, and love for her fellow human beings. She hopes to leave a legacy with her poetry. Writing is her outlet for stress—that, and watching Judge Judy on TV. Donating all her publications to local libraries, she wants everyone to be able to savor the message in her work.
