About this ebook
On my knees
To look up at them
Like the gods they are
And show my respect
So I told them
“You will have to break
My legs before I ever
Put myself below you”
And when my broken legs
Dangled off my thrown
They were the one with their
Knees to the ground

Her Eyes
Her eyes were the color of honeysuckle
And her freckles the same
An elegant portrait of disaster
And creation
Her tone of voice could bloom flowers
And shake mountains to the core
Her breath smelled of smoke
With lips as pale as cotton candy
Her rosy cheeks, tear stained
But her glare held determination
And don’t you ever look at her with pity
For she has lived through hell
And came out with fire in her blood
And an army at her side
She has not survived this life
This life has survived her
And she will conquer it
With her fists bloodied
And her clothes ripped
She will rise
And they will bow
Intoxicated
She liked intoxicating thing
Like cigarettes and long deep
Conversations
A night full of whiskey
Followed by a lifetime of stories
She loved the smell of grass
And the smell of gasoline
She was known for many things
But above all her sense of

We grow up and become large adults
We work and work
We merry
We do mundane things
We attempt the
