About this ebook
There are too many words we say and written, only a few which are true and meaningful. We read and speak too much but we write and listen too little. As we read and talk about how beautiful those poems, not all could write good poems and not even understand it's meaning.
I am so grateful to meet special person, Ikhwanul Halim, whose not only could write beautiful poems, but I believe that all his words is true, truly sincere. He can write different of prose with different methods of poems. To be able to write 100 days of poems was not as easy as we thought. He succeed conquer himself to be that consistent to write thoughtful poems with incredible choice of words.
I witnessed the process of his journey writing 100 poems, everyday. I enjoyed those days and it's result. I even wondering what would this world could be if all could write as beautiful as he did.

PRODUCT OF THE ERA
BUATAN ZAMAN
dada deru debar - mata berkaca-kaca, basah.
matamu berkaca-kaca mengharap nyata,
kabut mesti tersibak, hilang musnah dusta
namun, mestikah luka lama biar menganga?
dendam kesumat saatnya dilupa.
tak ada yang menghendaki luka kembali.
tak ada yang mengharuskanmu untuk pergi.

PRODUCT OF THE ERA
no one told me to leave immediately,
your staring eyes, asking smile
in your face, no longer pale: radiantly,
do not hesitate, I come here now, not to die.
I came to deliver a series of stories
humanity track record in the vortex of history
Ah! I know you wait to be restless not
your chest pounding- eyes teary, wet.
tears falling for expecting the truth,
the mist must be parted, no more lie
but, should the old wound let open?
vengeful resentment, to be forgotten.
no one wants the wounds to return,
no one asked you to leave soon.

SHE LOCKED HER HEART
(1)
early in the morning, watch the flare of the sun
fog floating down from broken branches
smell her milk, shake and done
that day was the day for goddess dances
maze of aisles, asphalt highway
nests of deathly lizards and snakes,
seared each step, must live on leap day
the roar of a hunter, ‘fore earthquakes
sleepy faces hanging on city bus
met the same face day after day
no recognition, none to trust
locked her heart, got lost on the way.
a poet crossed out graffiti,
poetry verses on the wall, ‘bout dignity.
(2)
today is the day for goddess dancing;
determination, round one in the garage.
flashmob on the street, people stop moving,
flesh and bones, as her red and white corsage.
the roar of a hunter in deep, darken cave,
the ruins of history landmark
