Chapter 1
The beginning of the story from the breakfast table of the Malhotra family who were happily together having breakfast. Aarav was making his lovely daughter, Misha eat the healthy food cooked by her mother, Myra. Everyone was talking with each like normally, all played with Misha and then Myra dropped Misha till her school.
Aarav Malhotra! He is a compact, clearcut man, with precise features, a lot of very soft black hair, and thoughtful hazel brown eyes. He had a look of wariness, which could change when he felt relaxed or happy, which was not often in these difficult days, into a smile of amused friendliness and pleasure which aroused feelings of warmth, and something more, in many women. He is an unusually smart, clever, insightful and thoughtful guy who also happens to be inscrutable. He is hard and sharp as flint, from which no steel had ever struck out generous fire; secret, and self-contained, and solitary as an oyster.
He is in a good position in his office, settled in Mumbai with his family. His only weakness was his family, especially his lovely daughter Misha.
When Myra came back, she had taken a day off today as it was her father's death anniversary. Her mother in law, Sumitra asked her to sit with Aarav which she followed.
Aarav, Myra, I am being straight with you both. I think you should plan for another child. Misha is five years old now. Don't you feel she should have a sibling to play with?
This statements did nothing but added fuel to Aarav's anger,
Maa, I have told you many times that Misha is enough for us. We don't think of second child
Said Aarav in a strict tone this time to let his mother know he is not going to change his intentions.
But why can't you think of a second child?
Asked Sumitra, his mother is equally adamant as him.
Once I said no, it means no
Replied Aarav not wanting to let the truth be out and walked upstairs to his room.
Myra was all silent throughout the whole conversation like she always has been.
Myra what do you think?
Maa I don't wish to talk about this topic
answering Myra too got up and started to climb the stairs then she heard her mother in law saying
Don't know on which time I brought her to our house. Chup rehti hai bs, jitna kaam ho utni hi baat karti hai. Mati maari gayi thi meri jo isse bahu banakr laai.
(She is always silent, talks only if needed. I was a fool to make her daughter in law of this house)
Myra clutched the railing along the stairs to control her anger, to control her urge to give a befitting reply to Sumitra. Reaching their room she found Aarav eating the tablets prescribed by the doctor, he had a back pain problem.
Sorry
Said Aarav to Myra who was collecting her things so that she can go to her office.
Why?
Because of maa, she shouldn't have taken the topic, you know she doesn't know how we are
It's fine
Replying in two words she left, it has become her habit to reply to everyone in the smallest way possible. She doesn't have long conversations with anyone, not even her husband except her daughter Misha.
Myra! A strong headed woman willing to do everything for her daughter's happiness. She trusted her own abilities and knows that she has value. She is broken and beautiful. She is a gorgeous woman with a petite figure who loves to flaunt her flaws. She didn't need any man to complete her, not even her husband. Silence is her best friend.
Sighing at her behaviour and his destiny Aarav went to his office, he remembered what day it was today. It was their seventh wedding anniversary but did Myra remember? No,how would she remember such things thought Aarav and continued to do his work but his brain was somewhere else.
Chapter 2
In the evening when both came back from their office, Kunal, Aarav's younger brother forced them to change their clothes, booking an ola for them he asked them to go where the driver takes them.
Aarav noticed Myra who was sitting beside him, looking outside the window, he once again flattened in her beauty. She is still beautiful as she was seven years ago when they met for the first time in the meeting arranged by their parents. They had an arranged love marriage.
Myra you look beautiful
he commented to which she plainly muttered a thanks to him.
I admire her beauty
As she effortlessly waltzes in
An alluring presence
With such elegance
Swaying like the mesmerizing sea
She is Love
She is everything to me.
Reaching the hotel they found there was a room booked for them with eye-catching decoration done in it.
Aarav's phone rang showcasing Kunal's name, he wished both of them a happy anniversary and assured that he will take care after Misha.
The food for them was flawlessly set up on the rooftop of the hotel. There was no one around to disturb them. The only light came from candles, the whole ambience was breathtaking.
Looking at it both Myra and Aarav went back to the time when Myra organized everything to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Those beautiful memories made their hearts swell in happiness but then some bitter things are there to ruin adorable things.
Pulling a chair Aarav asked Myra to sit on it and she obeyed his orders, grabbing a rose from the bouquet Aarav held in front of Myra.
Happy anniversary
being silent like she is, she accepted the rose and kept it on the table beside. Aarav was happy that at least she accepted the rose.
Should we order food?
He asked trying to be normal
Nodding in yes Myra got busy in her mobile to distract herself. Placing order for the food Aarav glanced at his wife, if everything had been normal she could have spoken non-stop but look at her she isn't even speaking a single word.
Myra yaar! Keep that mobile aside. Please
Listening to his pleas she kept her mobile aside but than she initiated to look around everywhere except Aarav.
Pata hai Myra...
( You know Myra…) And he shared all the details about the day to which she just hummed in response.
As the food arrived both started to eat in silence. He had some different thoughts, that
