Sharon Roberts is a Certified Nursing Assistant and a mother of two wonderful children. She's also the author of fantasy, children's books, and fiction. She has a fiction book coming out soon titled Too Solid To Break. She loves traveling, but her biggest fear is height. She attended Aspen and Margate Beauty school for Cosmetology. At Aspen Beauty's school she received student of the month, a haircutting, hairstyling and hair coloring Certificate. She also attended Keiser University College where she received an Associate degree in Business Administration. She was also the secretary of the Student Government Association. CHAPTER ONE

The Perfect Vacation

S HE PERFECTLY REMEMBERS the day when her life took a huge turn. It was a hot steamy summer and school was on vacation. Sharon wanted to explore other places. It was boring so she decided to travel across town.

Washington DC. was the place she had in mind. She didn’t want to travel alone so she invited her brothers to come along. ’’ Let’s take a trip to Washington DC, Sharon suggested? After that Sharon immediately reached out to her family members in Washington DC. To let them know that she was coming into town the following week.. Gillian screamed out in excitement. When she heard Sharon’s voice.

It’s been years since they talked to each other.. Her family was happy to hear that they will be traveling across town to visit them. It has been like forever since Sharon saw that side of the family. Gillian paused for a while then she introduced Sharon to Mike over the phone. He seemed very shy, so he barely said much. All he said was hi Sharon, I have heard so many nice things about you. I cannot wait to meet you.. Sharon shrieked okay Mike it was nice speaking with you.

Then Mike handed Gillian the phone.

She couldn’t wait to see Sharon.

after Sharon got off the phone with Gillian. She decided to go shopping for clothes she thought she might need for the vacation. That following weekend her mother dropped her and her two brothers off at the Greyhound bus station in Fort Lauderdale Florida. This trip was awesome except that her youngest brother forgot his bag at the bus station. He lost it while playing video games. It all happened at the same time when they got off to buy food and play video games.

He was so obsessed with the game he was playing he got distracted and forgot his bags.. When they got to Virginia her brother started searching for his bag. Which was nowhere in sight.. He then realized that he had forgotten his bag. Next to the video game machine. Sharon immediately contacted her mother to get in touch with Greyhound bus station.. to find out if the lost and found service had found a bag that was laying around. As soon as her mom got off the phone. She called the bus station.

She was fortunate to speak with someone in the bag claim department. They took her mother’s information and told her if anything shows up they will give her a call. Sharon felt bad for her brother. She wanted him to enjoy his summer. Regardless of his loss. The only time they get to see their brother is during the summer time. When he’s on summer break. Because he was still in school overseas..

Sharon was happy that her brother was here in the United States with them. When they finally arrived at their destination in Washington DC. Sharon called Gillian to pick them up at the bus station.

But her cousin came up with some lame excuse. How she’s trying to get intouch with Mike to pick them up But he refused to do so.

Sharon understoods that people have a right to do as they please. She blames her cousin who knew they were coming. But fail to make proper arrangements to pick them. Gillian gave them her address and told them to take a taxi to her house. As soon as they arrived at their cousin’s house. she stumbled across this handsome stud.

Mike, the same guy who was supposed to pick them up at the bus station is now standing in front of her. He was introduced to her by her cousin. It was like love at first sight.

He was stunned by her beauty. She was the opposite of what he was thinking. He kept staring at her from head to toe. Like it’s the first time he has ever seen someone so glamorous.

He didn’t take his eyes off her for a second. Why is he here? She whispered to herself. It’s obvious that he refused to pick us up at the bus station. What a sudden change. Suddenly all their cousins came outside to greet them. It has been years since Sharon saw that side of the family. They were happy to be reunited after all those years.. As her family was getting acquainted, she couldn’t help but notice how Mike kept admiring her.

She felt weird at first, but somehow she felt brave like she had known this person for years. Sharon thinks Mike purposely came by her cousin’s house to see what she looked like in person. It was no secret how beautiful and elegant she appeared to be. She was magical by the way she carried herself.

She could walk into a dark room and light it up with her brightness.. In a few seconds her mother had called to see if they had arrived safe.

Sharon told her mother that everything was fine. Mom, did you hear any word about my brother’s bag? No words yet on the location of the bags. But she’s keeping her finger crossed and hoping for the best. She told her mother that everything was going fine. Her mother promised to keep her updated if any changes. Mike kept staring at her and guessed he was stunned by her overall appearance. He just keeps on staring like it’s the first time he has seen such angelic divine beauty.

She didn’t want to cause a scene so she smiled and walked inside the house. As soon as she came back on the pouch, he started the staring process all over again.

Why are you staring me down?

She asked in a soft spoken voice.

Gillian shouted out that maybe he likes what he sees. Whatever it’s obvious, he refused to pick her up at the bus station because he thought she was ugly. According to her cousin those were his exact words before he met her in person. So what’s the sudden change?

How could he assume such a thing?

If he had never met or seen her before. Now he cannot take his eyes off her. Never judge a book by its cover before you see what’s inside. Now he’s standing in front of her, shocked because she was the opposite of what he was thinking. She looked like that in person. But she didn’t buy that for one second, that he liked her. That might just be his way to allure women into his web.

He was fine himself, with a player’s instinct written all over him. The type of guy who looked calm, but deep down he might be sleeping around with multiple women. Her intuition picked up right away that a guy this fine must have a lot of girls attached to him.. Gillian was trying to hook them up together. She made up some lame story that she’s going to be inside the house. While Mike and Sharon are outside getting acquainted. If Sharon didn’t know any better she would think that her cousin was setting her up on Mike.

Sharon liked him but she wasn’t the type of girl to make the first move. She plans to take it slowly. She had no intention of throwing herself on him. If he’s interested in her He will jump at the opportunity and make the first move. Before she could finish saying what she was saying he walked over to her and reintroduced himself

Sharon, how are you doing? Mike asked politely.

She replied that she was doing great.

She couldn’t help but notice that he had been watching her from across the room the entire time. Most definitely he liked what he saw, can you blame him for staring?’’ He can stare all he wants to. As long as he keeps his distance. She knew a guy as handsome as he was. Surely, have a lot of girlfriends in his life. He smiled and denied the fact that he has a girlfriend. Please don’t lie to me, she reassured him that she knows more than he was saying.

She has met his type before, pretending to be the perfect guy. But somehow break many hearts in the process. He looked at her in a sexy stare, would you like to go for a ride he asked.?

I would really like to go with you, but she was really tired it has been a long ride here. She came up with a lot of excuses. How she just arrived and she needs to freshen up a bit. Okay my dear she promised to go with him the next morning. Why not tonight he insists? no my dare.

I am not the type of girl who sleeps with a guy on the first night. Men usually think when a girl sleeps with them on the first night. He might think she’s doing the same thing with other guys. Who mentioned anything about sleeping together, he blurted out..

Honestly the way he was staring at her, he already made love to her with her clothes on. Mike claims that he just wanted to show her off in the city. He wants to drive her around town so she can see the wonderful view in DC. But she wasn’t buying that, she knew he had something else up his sleeve.. Sharon I am pretty obsessed with you, from the moment we met. But you hardly know me, she whispered softly. What if you try to kidnap me? she said jokingly. He smiled and said there’s no way I could do that.

But from the way he approached her.

She could tell that he had sexual feelings for her. There was no doubt that he was unto her.. Sharon I will never convince you to do something you don’t want to do. Not to be bashful but I really needed to take a hot shower. It has been a long ride here. She wants to freshen up. He asked, can I take a shower with you?’’ Oh no she replied.

I hardly know you, He slowly creeped up to her and hung her closely. Afterward he wished her a good night. I will see you in the morning, he whispered, as he walked away. She somehow wants to kiss him because he feels and smells so good. But she wasn’t the type of girl who made the first move when it comes to a relationship. The next morning he was back bright and early at her cousin’s house.

She heard a loud knocking on the door.

Who could that be? She whispered softly.

She looked out the window only to see it was Mike. She immediately got dressed and brushed her teeth.
