    About the Author

For my wife, Aurelia, you are the

    daylight to my night.

Author’s Note to the Second Edition

After feedback for the first edition of Zodiac Hacks: Constellations, we decided to incorporate suggestions such as links for further study within the electronic version of the book. No additions were made to the manuscript body.

After marketing, explaining, and teaching about the first edition of the book, I realized that an explanation is needed to understand what this book offers. First, it’s a deep dive into the psychology of the zodiac signs. And second, it explains how the zodiac signs serve as the programming for our spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical blueprint.

As with every industry in today’s world, the book publishing industry is changing in new and exciting ways. I very quickly realized that I need to retain the rights and licenses to my book in this quickly changing world.

Zodiac Hacks: Constellations is the first of its kind that takes into account the global changes we are living through at the time of this writing. As the world becomes more and more dependent on technology, I find that it’s vital to understand where spirituality has its role within technology. I want to stress that my work is riding on the crescendo of the blockchain technology wave that is implementing within every industry more day-by-day. Many people are either unaware, skeptical, excited, or afraid of the blockchain that may eventually replace the internet as we know it.

Zodiac Hacks is a basic and gentle introduction to the spiritual world within the new internet. After leaving Apple, I began developing a bridge between the spiritual and digital worlds. This book I wrote is the first of many that help people understand the digital-spiritual connection by using the science of astrology.

I have a large background and talent for technology and astrology, tarot, and natural healing. All my writings - upcoming as well as past ones - are interwoven through the connection between astrology, tarot, and the blockchain.

I am pioneering to prepare spiritually drawn people for this technological evolution and give tech-heads a way to connect to the Universe that created this all so they can have a deeper meaning as they browse the metaverse.

I also have a digital style tarot deck called Cosmic Pixels which offers guidance to those who are curious, timid, skeptical or hesitant, and even excited and eager to see how the spiritual world will fit into the new technology that’s slowly but surely being used to replace how we conduct our lives and business on the planet.

This book gives you the tools you need to take control of the astrological influences in your life so that the light, ions, and carrier waves that the stars and planets radiate will be under your command. Anyone who studies this book in order to learn these Zodiac Hacks nullifies the influences of fate hanging over their head. If you read this book and do not apply the hacks, it is as if you did not study at all, and you will remain subject to the influences of individual and collective fate.

    Introduction

Throw out your notions of cause and effect. The planets and stars do not cause anything; rather, they indicate the expression and timing of the particles and waves in motion since the big bang.

Although flawed, our modern world uses the Gregorian calendar to keep track of our experience of time. With all its influence, these very flaws within our calendar give us a way to hack the zodiac, master time, relieve pressure and stress, increase wellness, and help us attain our life goals. Thankfully, these flaws create openings with the bureaucracy of time, but first we need to learn the rules so that we can hack them.

But why astrology? Astrology is essentially the science and interpretation of time. Astrological months are measured by what’s known as a solar ingression, namely when the procession of the sun moves into a constellation from our perspective on Earth. These months are called seasons, and they are more like programs that offer specific challenges and blessings that we need to master.

Chances are this isn’t your first year of life and you’ve unconsciously muddled or mastered your way through the procession of the zodiac, many times actually. For example, so many of us are faced with cyclical experiences, whether they are moods or encounters with certain types of people or memories triggered at the same time of year every year, and there is a reason for it.

This book will help you identify what that reason is and what you can do to hack it—namely, understand what the purpose for those experiences might be and either get rid of it or optimize the process.

If hell is defined as a meaningless procession through life, this book is the hack into heaven. I have used these hacks to transcend my fate every month for many years so that I could aspire to my destiny as quickly as possible.

Every chapter falls within the context of that sign, even if it isn’t explicitly written out. So, remember that when you’re reading about programs within a sign, and you’re unable to make the connection between the program and the sign, know that the sign is responsible for the program in question.

    Chapter 1

    What Are Zodiac Hacks?

    Welcome, Hackers

This book is a guide to help you hack the zodiac, and I think it’s best to start out with a warning: the astrology I use is not the astrology you are used to. The astrology I use works with energy, fate, archetypes, and a practical understanding of how these energies manifest in our world and how to overcome or utilize them appropriately—a.k.a. hack the zodiac.

I know; you have questions. Like, Why would anyone want to do that? And how is that even possible? It’s not as if the zodiac is a software program.

    Or is it?

Let me answer the second question first: how is it possible to hack the zodiac?

When we think of software, we are talking about the intangible code that makes your phone or computer work. Without that code, you wouldn’t be able to check your status, emails, rankings, likes, or texts. Without that code, you would only have hardware—your phone or your computer—and it would be no more than maybe a paperweight or a piece of decor for your home. You most certainly couldn’t do any of the things you are used to doing.

There is an analogy between the hardware and software of computers and the body and mind of sentient beings. If the hardware of a computer is its body, then its software is its mind. Throughout this book, I will talk about this concept of computer is to body as software is to mind in detail, until this analogy becomes as obvious to you as it is to me; so from here on out, we will refer to this concept as mindware.

In DASH Astrology, which is the foundation of this book, we understand that mindware is composed of archetypes. Archetypes are symbols all beings share, regardless of demography, that express the positive or negative ideas we all experience. Further down, we will explore archetypes in depth, but for now, we will just think of them as the alphabet of the source code that runs our lives, whether we are aware of it or not. If you have ever watched the movie The Matrix, you can imagine that the tiny letters of green light that render the matrix mirror are how we construct our reality. Even science tells us today that when we break physical matter down to the subatomic level, we find that there are small energies. These energies are the alphabet of life.

The archetypal alphabet forms words, which form sentences, which form verses, which form patterns, instructions, shapes, and everything else, all of which can be translated into the language we comprehend. So we need to understand that our mindware, our software, is a coding of these archetypes. Although we all use the same archetypal alphabet, we all use it uniquely; no different from the configuration of a phone or computer according to what apps and components we like and what skills we have.

A lot of people, even programmers, need help when developing and using technology, as they often get stuck. No one is immune to the complexities of any technology. In the same way, our mindware is also quite complex.

For example, our mindware is very much influenced by our perceptions of time. In fact, we tend to operate in cycles. Birthdays, holidays, anniversaries, seasons, and times of day all determine what our mindware is focused on during any given point.

Because time is usually measured by the sun’s influences on earth, as it heavily determines the light we can use for certain activities, we are forced to draw our attention to, and thereby plan our lives around, the effects of the big star in the center of the solar system. For ages, humanity has measured the sun’s apparent course around earth, which takes us back to our archetypal alphabet.

One of the ways the archetypal alphabet has been translated and is used with transparency is through the art and science of astrology.

I know what you might be thinking: Astrology? Like my horoscope?

Well, chances are the astrology you have been exposed to is not the same astrology I am introducing here. In fact, I don’t even consider myself an astrologer; I just use astrology. I even developed my own term for it, Astrolochi, which is the synthesis of astro and chi, to emphasize the understanding of how astrology works on an energy level. But that is going to be another book. Here we are talking about mindware.

Like the mind, software has no hardware of its own. In the same way, the archetypes have no bodies of their own, because we are the hardware. Astrology is the only tool we have at this point that allows us to read the archetypal code that is unique to each and every thing on earth. For example, when we take our first breath, the time, day, and location of that first breath determines what our birth chart will look like. The fact that we arrived in this world at that particular time and location is not a random occurrence; rather, it is who we are, our cosmic fingerprint that we bring into this life to work with. This work is our fate.

In the same way, every moment is a special configuration of the zodiac and planets, which we now know are made up of the archetypal alphabet, which can be decoded, read, and used for advice with the science of DASH Astrology—the mindware of humanity.

Why Would Anyone Want to Hack the Zodiac?

If answering the second question (how is it possible to hack the zodiac?) didn’t also answer the first question (why would anyone want to do that?), then let me do so here.

The zodiac is only a part of astrology. It is a static part that never changes because it describes how the constellations are set in space. Of course, the stars that make up these constellations may have long ago died out completely, but the system of archetypes lives on forever within us. New stars or constellations may shift or reappear, but the structure and order of the archetypes will always remain the same. For example, if the A on your keyboard has faded away from prolonged use, you can still type A, even without seeing it. This is like an archetypal memory. If you get a new keyboard, or if the powers that be move the A to another position, A still exists.

In the same way, all twelve zodiac archetypes exist and influence our experiences here on earth. In this book, we are going to talk about the influences we feel whenever the sun is passing through one of the twelve archetypes, or zodiac signs, from our perspective on earth. For example, your star sign, also known as your sun sign, is determined by where the sun was when you took your first breath. However, does the sun stay in that sign for all of eternity? Of course not! That would be like asking if the weather on your date of birth is the weather you will experience for the rest of your life. The sun keeps moving through the rest of the twelve signs throughout the course of the year until it reaches your sign again, and you have your birthday or solar return. Meanwhile, its continued journey will have an impact on you throughout the rest of the year.

Now, the interesting thing is that the weather on your day of birth is probably not going to be a significant thing to you, but it did affect everybody else in the place where you were born. With the astrological weather—which is the placement of the stars at the time and place of your birth—it is quite the other way around. This weather will tell us everything about your personal archetypal patterns, but for everyone else, it may have the significance of just another day.

So, everything is influenced by the astrological configurations, which can be broken down from seasons, years, months, weeks, and days into every single moment. For example, as you are reading these words, someone is being born, and for this person, their astrological weather from the moment they take their first breath will be the underlying current throughout their whole life. But for the rest of us, it’s most likely only the meteorological weather we are interested in because it’s obvious and something we are able to respond to. Like when we get up, we first check the weather—unless we live in Southern California, of course, where there supposedly is sunshine every day. However, there is no denying that the meteorological weather is on our minds just as much because, even there, we dress accordingly. But the astrological weather, as you will soon learn, is also influential on the mindware of humanity. And though we cannot see the obvious factors because they are on the subatomic level, they are there: the sun is radiating different atoms in each of the abovementioned cycles while its light is filtered by the zodiac.

When it’s snowing outside, we dress accordingly. If we see it will snow tomorrow, we plan our lives based on the forecast. It’s not witchcraft. It’s not divination. It’s preparation. We know that summer is warmer and winter is cooler. So if we make plans for a summer vacation at the beach because the weather will be warm, we are not saying that we know the future; we are saying that we know the cycle.

In the same way, if we are in the month of Cancer, we prepare for certain things, just like we do when we see it will snowing. If we want to recognize the cycles of life so that we can become responsible rulers of our reality, we need to hack the zodiac and the mindware of mankind.

If we want to become conscious creators of our reality, we must hack the zodiac, because astrological influences retain all of our fate. Now I just mentioned a term that has yet to be properly understood: fate.

    What Is Fate?

Fate is the accumulation of the choices and actions we have made over many lifetimes that we have yet to be held accountable for. It’s like a long bill of debts or merits that we owe or have to spend. This is how mean people can be lucky or why nice people can be unlucky. Eastern cultures call fate karma, but the Western and English word for karma is fate, which is often confused by society. But the good news is that there is a way to not be fated by any star or archetype or stereotype, for that matter. We can choose and make our destiny (which is different from fate), and we can even do it with precision by hacking the zodiac and upgrading our mindware. The zodiac will always present personal challenges at certain times of the year, depending on the programming of our mindware, and when we can hack the zodiac, we can overcome these influences and level up.

Generally speaking, we hack the zodiac by resolving our fate, but since it is virtually impossible to be aware of all of our fate in one lifetime, the zodiac is there to help us look into areas that we would not normally go into. I have mapped out how to hack each sign of the zodiac throughout the course of an astrological year, in part II of this book.

In the meantime, we need to understand that there are various levels to fate. For our purposes, we will explore personal fate and collective fate.

Personal fate is ours and ours alone.

Collective fate belongs to a group of people, which can range from a family to a country. Collective fate can only be resolved when each person resolves his or her personal fate, one mind at a time, to reach a critical mass and tip the scales, as they say.

With this book, you can learn about the seasons and months of the year and how to better plan or organize your life, overcome the challenges, and reap the rewards.

Depending on the date, you can open this book to the time of year you need to research; it could be today, or it could be for something you’re planning to do in the future, like a wedding, reunion, or vacation to see if it will coincide with your goals. You can read about each sign to do research on yourself or your relationships. Yes, with Zodiac Hacks, you will be able to hack your relationships with other people too.

    Sun Sign Stereotypes

For the longest time, I was hesitant to put a lot of astrological weight on the sun sign because I found many astrologers to be astrologically racist—meaning most astrologers, as much as they would like to deny it, stereotype behaviors of signs. I am not saying that there aren’t astrological stereotypes or that the memes aren’t dead-on hilarious, but I have always found it, and still find it, limiting and judgmental if an astrologer delivers them in a professional reading.

Racism and discrimination are a collective fate of mankind that we each need to correct individually. In my opinion, the forthcoming discrimination that needs to be resolved will be ageism.

Astrological racism has been something I have struggled with since I started diving into astrology circles. This is emphasized via social media and the endless astrology memes that have been miseducating and misleading the masses. I use my voice to explain that we are so much more than our star sign and that we are blessed, or cursed, with an entire constellation of archetypes mapping out our past, present, and potential. We are born with everything we need to transcend our fate, and yes, while there are stereotypes that cannot be denied, we have within us the archetypes to balance these habitually held patterns out.

Then we have the transits that indicate the time we are to act, to transcend and to overcome astrological consensus. People who only know about their star sign are often intrigued and curious about the notion, while Google astrologers just parrot memes that reinforce the judgment. It then becomes the astrology that you’re subject to; that’s why it’s very important that you abide an astrology that opens up rather than boxes in.

With Zodiac Hacks, we stay away from the astrological boxes but learn how they have been constructed and how to hack them open so that we can use the treasures within them.

Anyhow, once I got over my rejection of the misrepresented mainstream zodiac characteristics, my eyes opened. Obviously, the sun is the largest body in the solar system, and in the same way, it’s the largest player in a horoscope. It gives light to everything else, so of course it makes a huge impact on the character of a person. Never mind that the sun makes up 60 percent of the fate we carry! So, yes, we all benefit as we are working with sun signs, even though I continue to go into deep detail of the other planets in my classes, teachings, and other writings.

Now I want to make one thing clear: This book is not to be used in a superstitious or dogmatic way. For example, if a month you are looking at is in contradiction to a goal you might have for that month, that doesn’t mean you should abort. It means you need to hack the zodiac!

In this book, I spell out the commands you’ll need to execute to hack the zodiac and make sure those themes will not spoil the rendering of your reality. There are simple and extensive hacks that can be done in every month to improve the quality of life.

This is not to say that my hacks will guarantee absolute perfection or manifestation of your plans. This is a freewill universe with many unexpected forces at play; remember, the sun is only one influence. It would be like saying you won’t get wet while it’s raining cats and dogs, even though you dressed appropriately or stayed inside. You could have an unfortunate leak, for example. So we go forward with the understanding that this is a freewill universe, and we obtain the cosmic calendar to our own lives to ensure a most favorable outcome.

    Chapter 2

    Hack or Be Hacked

Make no mistake, astrological influences are as influential as the weather, seasons, and other astronomical or meteorological phenomena. Ignoring them isn’t going to make a situation any better. In other words, the more we ignore astrological influences, the more we will be hacked by them. When I say hacked, I mean that we become puppets to these energies. But more on that later.

Coming from a dysfunctional Los Angeles family, I was fated to pick up a few dysfunctions along the way and call them my own. I didn’t realize that these dysfunctions would become my go-to tools for facing and handling life’s challenges. I noticed that they started to grow with me as I matured, and I had to do something about it before they stuck.

Addiction, manipulation, lying, silent treatment, and power games were the main tools I had learned to use in navigating life. I was pretty good at them too. The only problem was that these tools began to use me.

After I began to heal myself, I had to identify that these tools were acting out without my authorization, meaning they had started to operate subconsciously. For example, I wasn’t aware when I was being manipulative, despite the fact that I had electively decided to stop doing that days or even only moments before.

The choice to stop launching these tools was a start, but it wasn’t enough to uninstall them.

Their software was still installed in my system and operated in the background from time to time to get a job done. One could say it was the way I was used to doing things; the more technologically versed could say it was an algorithm that took twenty years, or twenty lifetimes, to code. To say the least, it was not going to go without a fight for its very survival, and logically, it made sense; it did get me this far, now didn’t it?

So, whenever we need to fix a code, which can be a misunderstanding, a miscommunication, a miswire, a typo, or the wrong action, we need to look at the error itself. We need to look for the source to bring clarification. Once we have clarity about what the source is, we can see what is going on and what needs to be fixed in order to fix the problem.

My tools of addiction, manipulation, lying, silent treatment, and power games all have a source of their own. Each is an individual plug-in that runs when the algorithm calls for it. But unlike computer software, these are the tools of the psyche that are based on perception. There is no code or screen from which we can read the source and obtain clarification. Of course, we can get counseling from a friend or a professional, but what they have to say is also based on perception, which is inferred from what we have relayed from our perception.

Obviously, any algorithms can be working in the background throughout the entire quest to seek counsel and resolution to our problem. It’s a wild goose chase to keep us distracted from the real issues at the source.

If our body is like hardware, our mind is its software.

    Finding the Cause

Any technician knows how to work hardware. We need healing, we go to a doctor. We need to touch up our looks, we see an esthetician. We need to buff-up, we go to a personal trainer. The hardware is obvious, and we have become a culture of perfecting it and defining a consensus of this perfection, which often changes from one study to the next.

We have also come a long way in mapping out the blueprint of the mind, yet we still do not understand the driving forces behind what makes the mind tick. Of course we can psychologically profile, but again, it’s all based on perception and documentation. The why remains a mystery.

For example, someone who is constantly seeking attention and approval may be compartmentalized by what they have experienced during childhood. We are often boxed into labels and profiles, which are prejudged by professionals. In the case of someone who is seeking attention, these professional labels can eventually become cherished and integrated into the personality, as even dysfunctional traits can become adorned in order to avoid releasing them.

When we work with Zodiac Hacks, we ask, Why did that particular childhood experience occur in the first place? Why had the early life experiences set up the perfect environment to propel the software of attention seeker? What was the fate operating to render that reality?

When I say fate, I am talking about cause and effect, specifically the effect. Whatever has been set into motion will run its course even if we don’t intersect with it until the next life. The point is that the source of the program may not be our childhood at all.

When we abide by the law of reincarnation, we come to realize that childhood is not free of fate. In fact, our childhood is the clear picture of unresolved fate that wants to be resolved. Researching our childhood is a great way to understand our fate, but usually, people walk away from watching their childhood movie depressed and armed with a plethora of excuses for their failing adulthood.

With the astrology that I practice and teach, we can now understand the software that precedes childhood, birth, and all undiscovered mysteries of mankind on the individual and collective level by examining the back-end code of the individual consciousness.

    Astrology: A Software of Archetypes

Every code has its own language, and in order to read code, we need to be able to process data and interpret it in a way that opens the door to understanding. This is very important when reading any language—that we are taken from a state of ignorance into a state of understanding, even if we don’t agree with what we have read.

The code of the psyche is a software of archetypes. Though our hardware often displays the stereotypes of these archetypes, every piece of hardware, or physicality, is sourced in an archetypal intelligence. The code of archetypes that we each have is unique, just like a fingerprint. It is locked in at birth, when we take our first breath.

At this point in time, a series of archetypal intelligences, as indicated by astronomical numbers, is downloaded and installed into our hardware. It’s pure mathematical calculation, and it looks something like this:

Now, of course, this is just astronomical data that isn’t useful to most people, as they don’t understand this language because they don’t know how to read that code. Or in simple terms, they don’t know how to interpret the astronomical data. They ask, What does that mean, and how can that data help me? It is clear we need an interface to understand what we can do with these numbers.

How can balls of dirt, gas, or rock spinning around the sun have anything to do with who I am and my psyche? Well, mankind has known for ages that the planetary positions within the solar system represent the archetypal relationship to the earth and its inhabitants.

The position of planets is monitored by NASA and other astronomical institutions that may not know exactly how to use the data they gather in a spiritual way. But any true mystic knows that when we study the qualities we ascribe to these planets, we are, in fact, getting insight into the archetypes.

The sun, for example, is the center of the solar system and therefore makes for a strong nucleus and center of our ego personality. That is why this book is dedicated to what’s known as the sun sign, which most people are familiar with. It makes up for more than 60 percent of our fate and therefore has a big influence on our software.

So, we take our first breath and instantly are locked into our sun sign, and the series of archetypal intelligences that is entirely unique to us and that can never ever be repeated anywhere in all the universes is downloaded and installed into our hardware.

Whenever we get a new phone or computer, we transfer our data into the new hardware, and reincarnation works in the same way, except there are no errors. Everything is copied over; nothing is ever lost, because the technology of reincarnation is far more advanced than any technology we have made until now.

But back to our astronomical data. These numbers are collected and ordered into what’s called an ephemeris. An ephemeris, which means diary, is used in astronomy to journal the positions of astronomical objects. With this alone, we are able to understand and interpret the coding of a mind. However, there is a beautiful UI (user interface) that can be constructed from an ephemeris to help improve that interpretation for a better UX (user experience) This UI we call a birth chart.

Free Will Is a Double-Edged Sword

To better understand the relevance of such an astrological chart, we may liken it to a weather forecast on the morning news. We see the symbols over certain cities for cloudy, sunny, rainy, or snow, and consequently, we know how to dress. We are better prepared for the day.

What happens in the rain, however, is up to us, always. So clearly, astrology is a tool that can help us make better-informed decisions, a tool that world leaders and geniuses throughout history have also trusted and used.

Sometimes people like to get into a debate and tell me that they don’t believe in fate and destiny and that they create their own reality. They are surprised to hear that I agree with them! I tell them that my astrological practice is quite different from their understanding of astrology. I also tell them that they work with wrong definitions of the concepts of free will, fate, and destiny.

We all have free will, and
