    Appreciation

I am grateful to my God, my saviour Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit for the encounter and opportunity I had with them over time. Without the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and the protection of Jesus Christ, this book would have been impossible. I would not be here today alive to share this living testimony and be a witness to the glory of God and to the total defeat of the devil. Thank you to Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

I appreciate my saviour Jesus Christ for shedding his blood on the cross to redeem my life and soul from the devil by making an open show of the devil, by triumphing over him and by openly disgracing the enemy out of my life totally. Colossians 2:14-15 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

I am grateful to God for giving me another opportunity—a second chance I call it—and an opportunity to love Him, to serve Him, to use my story to win souls for Christ in that God can do what Jesus did for me for you by reading this book. I also thank God for the grace to use my testimony to encourage those that are in Christ as well as to hold onto faith in our unquestionable God. Furthermore, I appreciate Jesus for granting me a special opportunity to fulfil my own very purpose in life. According to Psalm 57:2 I will cry unto God Most High, unto God that performeth all things for me.

I thank my husband, Olabanji Bartholomew Adebiyi and thank my children, Joyce, Peace and Gracious, for standing by me throughout the time of my illness. You are the best thing that happened to me. You are more than anyone would wish for or will desire to have in life, and your perseverance and untiring support during my hospitalisation, I often marvel at how God blessed me with you all. I always thank God whenever I reflect on how much we have all grown to trust Jesus and build confidence in the power of faith and prayer.

I express gratitude to the entire families of Adebiyi and the Idowu for their kind support and prayers. I wish that my late parents, Gabriel Adekola Idowu and Susanna Jumoke Idowu were alive to see the woman that I have become since Jesus took over my life. May their souls rest in eternal peace.

My gratitude to my pastors Tunde and Bukola Babalola, my spiritual parents in the Lord they declared in faith. They constantly built my faith and assured me that everything would be alright. Well, glory be to God everything is all right now!

I do not have the right words to adequately express my appreciation to the entire staff of Naas Hospital and The Mater Hospital Dublin, particularly the staff of the Coronary Care Unit (CCU), and the intensive care unit who became family to me when the hospital was my home for months and I received the best care in the world. The memories of your loving care linger on in my mind. I also received highly specialised care from Midland Regional Portlaoise Hospital (the CCU unit). I am grateful to all the staff that took care of me there. I also appreciate the support of the staff of the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Dun Laoghaire, County Dublin.

I thank all messengers of God and brethren in Christ in different parts of the world, particularly my families and friends in Ireland, Nigeria, UK and USA—all too numerous to mention—who spent days and months in prayer, fasting and placing a demand on God’s mercy for my recovery. May God bless you all.

I thank all those who are still praying for me as they read this book; the mercy of God will never depart from you and your entire household in the mighty name of Jesus.

    OF MY HEART DONOR

If the Lord had not been on my side, I would not be here today to write this book. I am giving all the glory to my Saviour and my Redeemer, Jesus Christ called Agbanilagbatan in my Nigerian native language, meaning the God that delivers completely.

I cannot overemphasise how grateful and thankful I am to Jesus Christ the lover of my soul for dying on that Cross and rescuing me with his precious blood. I never knew that Jesus could favour me this way. Lord, who am I that you think of me?

I commend the fearlessness of my children in the face of my spiritual battle. They demonstrated strength and faith as they were
