42486.pngIntroduction
F rom a young age, I always knew I wanted to write a book—a book filled with useful principles that if applied can help transform the way people see and relate to the world. My desire to write continued to grow over the course of my adulthood. I finally committed to accomplishing this goal once I realized that I had more than fifty topics written about and stored away. Over the course of my life, every time I encountered a situation that required reflection and deliberation, I took out a piece of paper and jotted down a principle that can be utilized to turn that situation around. Other times, I would observe those around me and become influenced to create a principle that I felt would help them in their situa tion.
I owe my desire to write a book to all the amazing authors who have transformed my life with their books, including Dr. Wayne Dyer, Richard Carlson, Don Miguel Ruiz, Eckhart Tolle, and Rhonda Byrne. I am so grateful for their dedication to improving the lives of millions of people around the world. There are so many amazing books that have positively influenced my evolving perspective on life. I believe my insights into the realm of spirituality and self-awareness are worthy of being shared with others. Spirituality and self-awareness have become the two main focuses of my life. I believe life itself is beautiful and is something to be cherished. The discovery of self-awareness can be absolutely wonderful.
The concept of this book is finding that aha moment when you realize that you solely have the power to transform your life and make it the masterpiece you envision. The moment you fully understand that you control your emotions, your thoughts, your actions, and ultimately your experiences. The results of your life are a direct reflection of all the thoughts you thought in the past and the actions that followed. It is a simple and profound concept that many people fail to acknowledge in their lifetimes. The conditioning of the mind is what propels us forward or holds us back. Most people live their lives believing they are the victims of their circumstances, not understanding they create their own circumstances and their own destinies. A shift in awareness can drastically change the course of our lives.
Through sharing my perspective, which has evolved over the years, I hope to give valuable insights into the concept of self-awareness and self-discovery. There are countless resources available to us for our evolvement and expansion. I am so grateful to have utilized these resources myself, resulting in a purposeful, driven life that is filled with love and gratitude. We are all born with a spark that is awaiting to be ignited. We all have a special purpose and unique role in this world. I hope this book will aid you in starting your own journey toward self-awareness and happiness. I believe anyone can obtain a positive mindset and live a healthy lifestyle by making minor changes in their daily routines by making a shift in their awareness.
This book is written in small chapters that cover specific concepts or ideas relating to self-awareness. They come from experiences and observations, concepts from authors, and personal insights I’ve gained over the years. Living by these principles has had a profound effect on the overall quality of my life. I believe they will have a strong impact on your life as well and will aid you in living a happier and more fulfilled life. I recommend reading one chapter a day to allow the concept to marinate in your mind. Concentrate while reading each chapter and connect to its message. Most importantly, read each chapter with an open heart. It is my hope that something within this book resonates within you and opens the doors to inner exploration. It is with great gratitude that I share these insightful concepts with you.
My Personal Story
A t the age of sixteen, my father had me watch Rhonda Byrne’s The Secret . I remember sitting there in agony waiting for the film to be over. My father was excited to have my younger brother and I watch it with him. Sadly, I didn’t understand any of it. After watching it, I went back to my normal life and felt it added no value to my life whatso ever.
A few years later, I watched it again on my own. At that time in my life, I had a lot of internal turmoil, and I was not happy with myself or the way my life was going. After watching it a second time, it made sense and struck a chord within me. I remember becoming so emotional by the end of the film and wondering how I didn’t grasp the message of self-awareness the first time. I realized something in that very moment that changed my life forever. It’s what inspired me to write this book. I realized that I was leading my life through my conscious mind and not my subconscious awareness.
The first time I watched The Secret, I wasn’t looking for improvement within myself. I thought I knew it all and could figure everything out on my own. I was stubborn and leading my life with my ego. The words spoken by the great philosophers in the film went in one ear and out the other. The second time around, I was older and desperate to make a mental shift within myself. I was emotionally drained from living a mentally destructive lifestyle. I realized that because I wanted to seek knowledge and was desperate for change, I was able to tap into my subconscious mind while watching the movie and retain the information. I was able to have a personal connection with the film’s message. For the first time, I was able to comprehend why things were happening the way they were. In that moment, I no longer felt like a victim—and I realized I had the power to change everything.
In that moment, I realized there are two kinds of people in this world: those who live through their subconscious awareness and those who live through their domesticated minds. There is a distinctive difference between these two ways of living. Those who live with awareness know they are spiritual beings having a human experience. They live more fulfilling lives because they experience everything through the pure subconscious mind, which is filled with love and gratitude. Those who live through the domesticated mind are led by their conditioned patterns because it’s the only thing they know. They go through life stubbornly allowing their ego to interpret all situations and dictate their actions. Many of these individuals do not know that they can change everything with a simple shift in their awareness.
The great thing about life is that at any moment, we can undo and release what we have be taught and adapt to a new way of thinking. It was only when I realized this and made a shift within my awareness that I truly experienced the beauty of life.

Life Is Short

is a phrase that is overused by society. It’s often said without meaning, and it has become a cliché. The context of this phrase is often misinterpreted, which makes it lose its true meaning. We don’t fully acknowledge its importance or relev ance.
This phrase has a deep and profound meaning. The true essence of it means we should live our best lives every day because tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Each day should serve as a reminder of the gift of life itself. I’ve made it a habit to be grateful every morning for another day. This small habit has reminded me to be grateful for each and every single day.
We all know that we aren’t going to live forever. No one is an exception to this rule. However, a part of us believes life can be put off until later. How many times do we tell ourselves that we’ll get to something later in life because right now isn’t a good time? We think later is always available to justify putting off the things that we should be doing now. We live day by day, thinking this will last forever, but change is constant. We all get older, and we all change. The phrase life is short
is true, and it applies to us in more ways than one. We were not promised forever—only now. You were born to live an incredible life that is filled with love and happiness and great experiences. Each part of your life was intended to be enjoyed and appreciated.
I often think of all the great souls that left this world too early. Think about all the great accomplishments and memories they yearned to fulfill but didn’t get a chance
