An Erotic Short Story

Peaches stood in the short line, hugging her coat around her for warmth. It was winter, and it was already dark at 5 pm.

She thought for a moment about turning around and leaving, but her feet stayed planted to the concrete. She inched closer to the door, next in line.

A large black man with a bald head guarded the door. Can I see your invitation, Miss? He held his hand out.

Peaches handed him the white card with the details of the evening on it.

And your ID?

She fumbled into her petite black purse and pulled out her driver’s license. He glanced at it and nodded.

He handed her an envelope with a number on it. Place your phone in here please, you can pick it up on your way out tonight. She dropped her phone in and he handed her a long piece of paper detached from the envelope.

He unhooked the red rope barrier and motioned for her to enter.

She suddenly found herself in a long, darkened hallway with only neon light strips along the bottom of the walls to guide the way. She tentatively walked toward the loud music thumping from the back of the building, hugging herself protectively.

Suddenly, she reached the end of the hall and found it opened to a large room, not unlike a nightclub. It was dimly lit, with a large wooden dance floor in the middle of the room.
