Film photography has been, and will always be an excellent medium for capturing, storing, and preserving memories, as well as documents.

The analog format gracefully blends the art of color, light and shadow, with the science of chemistry, in a way that demonstrates the properties of magic, in the reality of our existence - right in front of our very eyes.

Over the past number of years there has been a significant increase in the price of photographic film. This book illustrates special techniques that can be used to keep cost reasonably low, while at the same time raising the typical photographic yield produced when film is processed. The tips and tricks presented in this book also include solutions to common obstacles found when loading film.

The subject matter contained within these pages are specific to the 8x11mm format used by subminiature film cameras. While the examples provided discuss and display Minox cameras, the techniques provided are applicable to all 8x11mm subminiature film cameras, regardless of the brand or model.
