About this ebook

The FBI Cyber Unit investigate a new artificial intelligence APP that appears to cause people to seek out total strangers and have anonymous sex with them. Sex that is so iniquitous it defies explanation and leaves the participants in fear for their lives. Somehow the food critics and AIDS patients get involved in the mess.

Agent Justin Thyme appears before a Senate Hearing on Cyber-crimes and reveals what the FBI investigators have uncovered. It seems to revolve around a failed restaurant belonging to two friends, Helen, and Barb. In some way a third party gets involved, Arie and people start doing things that are so out of character for them without knowing why they are doing them.

Agent Thyme discovered the use of an AI app developed by Arie may be the underlying cause of the strange behavior happening in New York City to some of the most well to do residents, and social media influencers.

    Chapter One

The Cyber Crime Unit of the FBI handled more AI crimes than ever before. A slew of potential AI crimes continued to be committed.

Technically, most were not illegal until after the incident(s) were committed.

Various drugs had the same history. Many not listed as illegal drugs until the law caught up to date with them. Until that time, they were not illegal.

These new AI related potential criminal incidents have greatly increased. The Senate committee on such crimes deemed it necessary to update (in real time) the increasingly outdated Federal Penal Law. The goal simple:To create a mechanism to keep up with, identify and outpace the rapid changing responsibility and criminal culpability of the AI experience.

FBI Special Agent Justin O’Sage Thyme of the Cyber Crimes Unit had been ordered to provide information to the Senate Committee. It was a closed-door meeting. He was to facilitate an understanding as to new methodologies the politicians should consider. A new strategic timetable method of updating the law.

Agent Thyme held Ph.D. graduate degrees in both Data Science and Sociology. Two underlying AI information pools the Committee needed to better understand. The task: Turn the new knowledge into actionable lawmaking.

    ***

The Committee Chairperson introduced Justin as Doctor Thyme. He informed her his preference is the title of Special Agent.

The politicians decided to forgo their usual introductory self-serving and motivated statements. They asked Agent Thyme to start his testimony. They requested it be given as uninterrupted, unscientific, and graphic as possible. The committee admitted their knowledge base on the topics concerned were considered limited.

The Committee then added an addendum to their initial request. They asked the Special Agent to relate one of his most intriguing unsolved cases. This as an overall introduction. A case that shared not only the new evolving technology but how it intersected with the pre-digital antiquities of our humanity.
