Niquito, Pawed Angels - Dill Ferreira
Niquito, looked excitedly through the gate railing. He was freshly showered and smelling as he liked. But his joy was actually because he had moved into a house across the street from a family that had a cute little stray dog like him. Niquito already knew her name, it was Mel. He heard Mel's owner calling her the day before.
— Little friend, is it our impression or are you in love? – asked the flower friends after watching Niquito for a while.
— Me? Imagine, friend. I don't even think about it right now. The flowers laughed looking at each other. While Niquito remained at the gate waiting for his neighbor to show up, even if it was for just for a little bit.
Time passed and Niquito still didn't see the little dog across the street. Lucky for him, the place where he waited was shady, but he was very tired of waiting.
— I don't think she's coming — he said softly to himself.
