About this ebook
We dragons breathe fire as burning as the sun rays.
When a Viking comes to fight
We toast them and roast them on sight,
Like a hot dog on a grill.
But when I see my empty nest, and I flew by
I breathe a scorching sigh,
And I crisp the trees under me like
French fries on the hot oil.
When my dragon egg got lost, I think of it
With sad tears in my eye.
Will I ever see my dragon baby?
Will he be lost forever?
Was he even born?
And I raise my head and blew a cloud of steam,
and dream of my lost baby dragon with teary eyes.
and if the Vikings ever, I mean ever,
come back
I will roast them and toast them
to crispy Viking poppers!
Get the dragon story now! It's great for any ages.

CHAPTER 1 The Vikings
Over many hills and valleys, far beyond the mountains and hills, on the beautiful shores of the Mediterranean Sea lived a clan of fiery ancient creatures: the dragons.
They had many shapes: long, small, short, tall, and some had horns or a long tail with spikes, some had scales, and some had fur.
All had wings: small or enormous compared to their size, transparent or thick, scaly, or feathery.
Their skin colors varied: black, green, blue, golden, and red.
One of them, a gigantic red dragon with small-scale wings, had just laid two eggs: one was golden, and one was shiny black with sparkling spots.
The oval-shaped eggs were perfect, no cracks, no faults, and they were about the size of a human, five feet. The mother dragon carefully placed her body over them to keep them safe and warm and sang to them one of her own bedtime songs:
"Don’t sneeze.
Don’t blink.
Don’t even hiccup,
because my babies are wrapped in a dream,
flying above fluffy clouds,
running along with other dragons,
and hopping along the riverside."
But as the sun set, the mother dragon was not keen on leaving her nest, but eventually she got hungry.
She left to hunt for a meal: a wild boar, a sable tooth tiger, a woolly mammoth, or perhaps a sea monster.
The sea monsters were very tasty: their flesh tasted like seaweed, but sweeter, and had a hint of cinnamon in it.
The Mediterranean Sea was full of sea snakes and other underwater monsters, so she flew along the coastline to find her next meal. For the other preys, she would have to fly further away from her nest, but she didn’t want to leave the eggs alone for too long time.
However, she missed the Viking’s ship as they had sneaked into the harbor while she flew to the other direction.
Alas, she had no idea, that the Vikings had waited for an opportunity to rob her nest.
The sun set with a crimson clouds decorating the horizon. And then the darkness fell over the country.
It was a starry night, only the stars, the old man in the moon witnessed the crime about to happen. Because the Vikings had only evil things in their mind, and their goal was to rob and steal treasures. And the greatest treasure of all was a dragon egg!
The dragon’s nest was situated on a hilltop, and the two Vikings approached it
