      It had been such a long time. She ached for him, every part of her, so deeply that it seemed to have sunk into her bones, a steady, dull sensation that she carried with her every day. She laid in bed sometimes at night, her hands roaming over her skin, seeking to replicate the sensations that he brought out in her, with little success. Nothing could match the way he touched her.

When they kissed, it was an onslaught, his mouth assaulting hers, possessing her without question that she was, in fact, his, and would surrender. She loved the way he kissed her, desperately, as though he were overcome with desire at the very sight of her.
