About this ebook

Captain Rooney is a fugitive from justice — having disobeyed a direct order, an act that was all for naught as the order was still carried out. When he is finally about to be caught, he, in desperation, enters the Great Void in space. No one ever comes out of the Void.

And yet, Rooney comes out of the Void, to a universe vastly different from the one he once occupied. He meets Cita, an alluring woman who becomes the pilot of his ship. One job leads to an encounter that they both will not forget.

It was from there- 3456 to be precise, that the two superpowers of the world, their names long since forgotten to history, combined and started their campaign of global, then intergalactic, conquest. As it stood, the Earth-based government controlled 3 galaxies, 32 planets and well over 340 billion people. There were no sovereign nations or planets left. Everything was controlled with an iron fist from one central location on Earth.

Rooney looked all around, but could not see anything. Attributing it to his paranoia of being caught, he got back onto the
