    OVERVIEW

It Is About Islam: Exposing the Truth About ISIS, al Qaeda, Iran, and the Caliphate, written by Glenn Beck, uncovers the truths about various aspects of Islam and certain groups of the religion’s followers.

From the early days of Islam and the prophet Muhammad’s teachings, Muslims began living and preaching a faith that aspires to conquer other geographical regions and nonbelievers. One traditional tenet of the Muslim faith still practiced today, jihad or holy war, that many faithful interpret as an encouragement through the word of Allah to kill nonbelievers. This has led to the formation of many terrorist organizations and to countless acts of terrorism over the centuries and into the present. Several extremist groups of Muslims, such as al Qaeda, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Muslim Brotherhood, share the belief that they are ushering in the time preceding Judgment Day, when nonbelievers of Allah will see a violent end.

Misunderstandings of Muslim culture propagated by the media and government officials have morphed into what some may call outright lies, such as that Islam is a religion of peace or that critics of Islam are bigots. By delving into Islamic scripture, history, and speeches and statements made by some members of the Islamic community, these lies can be exposed for what they really are. Once these lies are revealed, people can look to the future by forming a plan to slow the spread
