    This is Why We Pray - Andrei Besedin

    Introduction

    In the name of Allah, the Merciful, Gracious, creator of the universe, and everything that exists within & outside the earth.

    Irrespective of your wealth, knowledge, and position in society, you need to understand that our first responsibility on this earth and as Muslims is to worship Allah. Evidence of this duty is in;

    I did not create the Jinns and the human beings except for the purpose that they should worship Me. (Quran 51:56)

    You must learn to pray, and understand the rules that guide Solat, and how to make supplications to the Lord (Robb) of the universe.

    The first chapter talks about the pillars of Islam, the type of dressing suitable to observe prayers, and the appropriate mode of dressing for women about to observe Solat.

    Most individuals generalize that religion only concerns the spiritual connection. However, in Islam, physical appearance also matters.

    When you mention Islam, the first thought that comes to people's minds is the religion of Mohammed, which is false.

    Islam has existed since the creation of the prophet Adam. The prophet teaches that true Muslims will receive the result of their deeds with their right hand on the day of resurrection.

    A true Muslim is not only someone that keeps beards or short trousers; chapter 3 of this book talks about identifying a true believer and how Mohammed traveled to the heavens to receive Solat.

    If you notice those that perform their Solat frequently, there is a calmness in their face. This is because Solat teaches tranquility of the heart and brings one closer to Allah. Learn about the importance of Solat and etiquette of dua in Chapter 4.

    Are you struggling with performing Solat or have an idea of the different Solat in Islam? Check Chapter 5 for guidelines to observe prayer in Islam and the different Solat types ranging from Solat Jumah, daily Solat, Wajib Solat, etc.

    Everyone needs one or more requests in a lifetime. Some situations require only the grace of Allah, but how do you get this favor if you are not close with your Robb. Learn how to make dua and the best time for supplication in Chapter 6.

    Do you want to know the meaning of adhan, Muezzin, and if a woman is permitted to call prayer in Islam? Chapter 7 talks about how to call prayer and who is permitted to call prayer.

    The truth is, not everyone knows how to perform wudu properly. Do you know that the first step to prayer is to have the intention as you can't have niyyah if you are not a believing Muslim? Check step by step guide to perform ablution in Chapter
