Our Lovely Wedding

I knew Tabitha would be the love of my life within an hour of meeting her.

With long, naturally blonde hair and a slim, athletic body you’d be forgiven for thinking that I was drawn by her physical beauty, but the reality was her mind and personality was what got my attention. She was super smart, had a wicked sense of humour and came from a similar background to myself.

We were both from deeply religious families in the North of England and first met in Church. We didn’t get to talk to each other until after a Bible class one evening when we sat outside afterwards and just talked forever. After one such frustrating kissing and cuddling session with Tabitha, my addled mind leaped at the only logical solution that I could think of. Taking Tab’s hand in mine, I knelt down in front of her and said, Tabitha Jones, will you marry me?
