How to complete an AFFINEcionados puzzle

The first table on any page of an AFFINEcionados puzzle looks like this:
This tells us that the word we are trying to decode is ‘ZETVGKZFE’. We’re given two clues: The third letter of the decoded word is ‘C’, and the eighth letter is ‘O’.
These two letters appear below ‘T’ and ‘F’ respectively – that tells us that ‘T’ decodes to ‘C’ and ‘F’ decodes to ‘O’. We’re ready to solve the puzzle.
