About this ebook
What doesn't kill you leaves a demon fighting by your side
I always hated demons with a passion.
Now I just might have to save a fucker's life.
The world's gone to shit, unstable magic and supernatural forces humans are powerless against a constant pain in my ass. It's a fucking infestation. And, believe it or not, it gets even better.
A bunch of powered up assholes are bent on controlling the ley lines and wrecking havoc upon my town. My. Godsdamned. Town.
I can't let them get away with that.
But teaming up with a lying piece of shit demon to get rid of the pests?
Shit, maybe I could have stomached that on its own. But it looks like the price of our alliance is way higher than just keeping the guy alive.

kolovrat universe
DESTINY RECLAIMED is a standalone set at the beginning phase of the Future
portion of the Kolovrat universe. However, several other works exist in the same sphere.
Each series (or standalone title) is its own complete work within the Kolovrat universe. You don’t need to have any prior knowledge, simply dive into what feels best to you at the moment.
However, if you want to see the larger picture and enjoy the many crossovers peppered throughout my works, I do recommend eventually picking up all the available titles.

From the moment awareness of the world exploded in my mind some twenty-seven years ago, I hated demons with a passion.
They were threats. Predators. Creatures who needed to be put down before their fucking taint had the chance to spread and suck innocents into their vortex. And yet here I was, standing in my godsdamned apartment and saving the bastard’s ass.
Ironic didn’t even begin to cover it.
Then again, when the entire world went to shit about ten months ago, choosing the lesser of two evils kind of became a regular occurrence. I really shouldn’t have been surprised.
Though, in all honesty, I’d never, never thought it would drive me into a situation quite like this.
Boran…
I peeled my gaze from the chaos raging two stories below and focused instead on the reflection of the athletically built, golden-haired man standing in the middle of my living room. His tailored suit was missing patches of fabric, and there was a trail of crimson snaking down his cheek, letting me know that at least some part of his story was true.
My fingers curled into fists as I studied the face I knew—the face I’d been led to believe belonged to someone of my race. A human. Such fucking bullshit.
What’s even your real name?
I asked in a low hiss, trying—if not exactly succeeding—to keep my temper in check.
The demon’s voice was smooth, and, for the first time in the long months I’d known him, held an edge belonging to someone who had lived through the centuries. A whole damn lot of them.
Kaloyan.
Slowly, I spun around, meeting Kaloyan’s blue-green gaze head on. "And just what made you believe you could burst in here, beaten and bloody, and think I wouldn’t turn on you?"
Not that he was in the clear just yet. There was still a fairly generous chance I’d do precisely that somewhere down the road. But as much as I itched to draw my Taurus PT111 and empty all thirteen rounds right into the bastard’s chest, there was something about the way he’d exploded through the front door that made me pause. I sure as shit hoped I wasn’t turning soft for no fucking reason.
Well?
I pressed.
Kaloyan’s jaw twitched almost defiantly,
