    FOREWORD

    Long Hair Goals-

    Healthy Hair-

Treat your hair as you’d treat your skin!

    (Just imagine what would happen!)-

    Hair Harmony and You-

    Simplicity Isn’t Easy…

I use these phrases often because of the many people I encounter; many absolutely hate their hair. Once I realized my super thick hair had started thinning from all the tactics I’d use to transform it into something it wasn’t, I had an epiphany: STOP and LOVE on your hair!

Hair has been my obsession since I was four years young, from styling my grandmother’s wigs on Sundays to cutting my doll’s hair and then onto live bait—my family. It was my medium for creating textures and experimenting with products designated for certain hair and skin types. I saw beyond the skin tone; I just saw universal texture. I focused on creating solutions for what seemed like the impossible.

The possibilities were endless. I had a vision and I wanted to conquer the world!

Since beginning my career I have had the fortune of experimenting on and practicing with my clients, who have taken me to Vienna, Rome, Miami, New York, DC, and places in between.

It has been an incredible journey that has allowed me to incorporate all of my experiences to enhance my application to hair along the way.

This handbook is meant to reveal how these simple techniques toward grooming, restoring, and transforming your hair and body can give you the beautiful head of hair you were intended to have with the hair texture you are blessed with.

Once you have made peace with your hair and have improved your habits, with some patience you will truly be surprised at how simple healthy hair can be…

    SHAMPOOING

Water, shampoo, CoWash, or dry shampoo? The first step…

My clients frequently ask how often they need to shampoo. Do weekly suds and water dry out the hair? How frequently should they clarify? Is a shampoo for color-treated hair necessary?

How efficient is dry shampoo, or is a CoWash technique best?

What I am about to share with you is what I have experienced
