Confessions of a Cancer Survivor - My Victory over Cancer - Angel Moscatelli
Praise
Author Angel Moscatelli has carefully crafted her experiences with a rare lung cancer from initial symptoms, through diagnosis (shock and awe), treatment, support of family and friends, and the joy of giving back. Moscatelli’s candor about challenges in waiting for news, being out of her comfort zone in the healthcare arena, the ups and downs of being a cancer patient, and the impact of cancer on all parts of her life make for an amazing read. Recommended for anyone diagnosed with cancer, their loved ones, and health care providers. It will leave you inspired to advocate on behalf of yourself and live every day to the fullest.

Why I Hated Pink: Confessions of a Breast Cancer Survivor and Twelve Octobers: Reflections of a Breast Cancer Survivor
Angel Moscatelli has soulfully and warmly accounted her experiences with the diagnosis that no one wants to receive. Illustrated throughout is her determination, her personal strategies for keeping a positive frame of mind, and her willingness to share those with others who may face the same diagnosis. This book will be a positive guidepost for those who read it.

Independent practitioner and teacher of Reiki
As a long-term cancer survivor, I expected Angel’s account of her journey to cause me to revisit my treatment and recovery. So I approached the book with trepidation. To my great relief, while being a realistic account of treatment, it was uplifting and reassuring. It focused not only on physical treatments, but also the mental and emotional fortitude of the author. It provided excellent coping mechanisms for those facing major life challenges.

"Confessions of a Cancer Survivor is the honest, raw, and compelling story of Angel Moscatelli’s real-life experience with cancer. She drives home the importance of taking a stand for your health and health care while being a staunch advocate for yourself as you navigate the journey of health and healing. Her book is a generous contribution to those who find themselves surprised and shocked by an earth-shaking diagnosis of a cancer or a serious illness. Her courageous story will make a positive impact for her audience."
– Marie Fratoni, CEO, Get Clients Everywhere
"Confessions of a Cancer Survivor is an inspiring story while the author frankly discusses the emotions those have with a cancer experience. Undergoing any cancer treatment is a scary thing, but making a choice to be positive and embrace different methods to keep the positivity momentum going are illustrated here. Ms. Moscatelli also shares simple ways to advocate for yourself while going through treatment and, although they may seem simple, it could very well be that these things and remaining as positive as possible were what brought her through her illness."
– Christine Doyle, contributing writer for the Bellingham Bulletin

Dedication
T
his book is dedicated to all the people in my life that surrounded me with love, support, strength, and laughter during my big C
journey. From family and friends, to the nurses, doctors and coworkers, to the strangers I met along the way. It is also dedicated to those future researchers who will find a cure for cancer. Cancer, or any illness, does not have to equate with death. Yes, people have died from cancer and many illnesses. But people also survive and thrive to this day after going through their cancer healing journey. I am one of them. May we be the love, support, strength, and laughter to everyone in our lives, always. Not just during the difficult times. People need people always. Let us honor each other in good and not so good times. Our days are numbered here.
Introduction
I
am one of eleven siblings. The chosen one. Sounds good, right? Not really!
I am the one person in my family that has prevailed against cancer. I am NED or, as they say in medical speak, No Evidence of Disease. I want to share my experience from being diagnosed, the journey of treatment, and how I handle every day I am breathing. My desire is to give hope, inspire, educate, and give strength to anyone out there wanting to be cancer-free or have someone in their life wanting to be cancer-free.
I used traditional medical methods for my treatment. I am cured today. I also envisioned myself being in optimal health constantly. I had Faith. I believed I would be here today and I AM. There is a lot of controversy about medical treatments and alternative medical methods. I say choose what you desire to get yourself healed. There is no right
