Donna Hudson

Donna and Sandy (twins) grew up near a small town in southern Virginia, where they spent a lot of time playing outdoors. Both graduated from James Madison University and eventually returned to their hometown to raise their families. Donna started her career with Burlington Industries, later moved into the education field as an elementary teacher, and is now a specialist for English Language Learners. She lives on a farm with her husband Michael; they have lots of cows and room for the grandkids to roam. Sandy taught Kindergarten and First Grade for 37 years. She lives in a neighborhood near town with her husband Marshall, two cats, and a dog. This is her second children’s book project: she and her son and daughter collaborated on Cooper Cares, a book featuring her first grandson.
