    Quantum Magic - Silvio Guerrinha

    Aknowledgments

My goal of writing this book is not just to create a spell book recipe but also to make one of the most complete magick formularies. I also want to explain how magick works with a more scientific perspective. For this purpose, I have joined together all the knowledge of occultism which I gained in my last twenty-two years of practice and research, making a correlation of it with my knowledge about quantum physics, biophysical sciences, hyperdimensional physics or Metaphysics, bioenergy etc. From adolescence, I had read hundreds of books about magick but even the most respected formularies only tell the readers that the magick works and you just have faith on it, and if you make altars and worship such entities then spiritual entities can help, but the more curious reader (or scrupulous) may want to know more. I am always keen to know more.

Ideas are toys, the search for truth is a game.

I know faith strengthened intent to work, and magick coupled with faith produces results, but it is just about that? How is the whole process proceeds, is there any palpable studies? If you are also curious and ask these questions to yourself, then this is the book you have been waiting for.

Why is this Magickal formulary different from the others? Firstly, it addresses magic in a modern, effective, and scientific perspective based on quantum physics. Secondly, it is a compendium of hundreds of spells of various fewer known systems (from Egyptian magic, Gypsy magic, Afro-Brazilian magic of Umbanda and Candomblé, European folk magic among others). Fruit of several years of research of books, ancient grimoires, written not by a mere curious author of the subject but an experienced longtime practitioner.

Sílvio was born in Europe (Portugal), studies and practice occultism for more than twenty years, knows well about European folk magic, gypsy love magic, Brazilian sorcery, and much more.

Many of these spells are not even known in English books, they were just passed by oral tradition (not written in books).

The author lived in the countryside, near the woods, visited small villages, had contact with curandeiros (shamans, brujos), and practiced magic in the woods.

He writes in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish, as Portugal shares borders with Spain so he had also studied many occult books in Spanish and Latin witchcraft (Spanish folk magic, Brujería, Cuban magic), as also Brazilian magic (Umbanda, Candomblé, Simpatias, Pajelança, Indiginous Shamanism, macumba).

He as some pai-de-santo friends (Umbanda mediuns, initiates). He is not just a researcher, but a practitioner too, and as these are his native languages and culture, so he knows about it in the first person.

Many of these ancient spells, were taught since the 8th century, when the alchemist Moors were in Spain and Iberian Peninsula, before their expulsion.

We also have some spells that were introduced by the gypsies, as they are nomads and travelled all over Europe, many came from Romania (Romani people), many love spells are from them, we call them ciganos ( gitanos, magia cigana as the gipsy magic).

The folk Brazilian magic usually they call "simpatias comes from the word sympathy and related to sympathetic magic. The real meaning of the word, Simpatias" are spells of sympathetic magic and vibrational resonance.

I know all the words and types of sorcerers in these languages:

In Portuguese, we say bruxos, feiticeiro, in Spanish they call them brujos, bruja, hechizero, in Brazilian the words are Bruxo, feiticeiro, macumbeiro, xamã, curandeiro, pajé.

Curandeiro means folk healer, feiticeiro means sorcerer. Bruxa means witch. Hechizo is spell, in Spanish. Hechizero means the one who performs spells.

Witchcraft: bruxaria, brujería, hechizeria. It will be also interesting for readers to learn all these cultural terms.

The Scottish anthropologist Sir James Frazer wrote some studies on mythology, magic, and superstitions in one of his works " The Golden Bough went so far as to claim that the mechanisms of magic resemble science. Magic is common to all peoples and cultures, using the human psyche to create changes in events. Frazer mentioned the law of Contact and contagion, two things or people even after having physical contact, remain linked" at a distance by non-physical means.

This law, however, was created by the neo-druid Isaac Bonewits.

It is at this point that there are similarities to quantum physics, which has always said that particles can interact at a distance (quantum entanglement) and even though there is no emptiness there is invisible energy in our eyes and virtual particles are emerging from the quantum vacuum of probabilities, etc.

Speaking about the vacuum, lets first have a reflection about the meaning of darkness.

The word darkness is a matter of semantics; darkness is the absence of light, or if we speak cosmologically it is the part of light spectrum that we cannot see (beyond infrared frequency for example). Just like dark energy or dark matter is probably energy in a spectrum of light that we cannot see, not even with recent space telescopes.

According to quantum mechanism, virtual particles become various types of particles, including light particles (photons), so we can say that from darkness (what we cannot see, the vacuum) comes the light, matter, and everything.

Now let's see the definition of magick:

Magick is a ritualistic practice in which the operator (magus) invokes energy (cosmic or spiritual) and employs its energy and directs towards a purpose (the ritual by faith, by intention, by vibration: vocalization, prayers, affirmations). Various energies may be involved, either spiritual entities, or egregores, gestalts, the own magnetism of the magus, or energy of the quantum vacuum or cosmic electricity. Primary property of the cosmos since the strength and energy gain status have different loads and kinetic capacity; characterized by different varieties, summarized as Parton, establishing the fundamental plasma nature of all cosmic phenomena.

The etymology of the word magic comes from the Persian language, magi or magusk, meaning as much as image or a wise man, the root is meh big, magi were also the followers of Zoroastrianism. It is also said to derive from the Greek magéia (the doctrine of the warlocks), the Greeks must have been inspired by the term magi; a Meda tribe in Asia Minor.

They have also known terms like witchcraft or sorcery/ sorcerer, in Portuguese we say bruxo which derives from pluscius (plus = more, cius= knowledge, knowing).

In English, it is said Sorcery which derives from the French sorcellerie (witchcraft) or sorcière (Witch). In medieval Latin sortiarius is teller of sorts or destinations; sorcerer literally merans One who influences fate or fortune, in old times magic was called "great Science or the Art."

Why do we use magick with K at the end, instead of just magic? Aleister Crowley was the first to use that differentiation, to differentiate real magick from stage magic (illusionism, entertainment).

All peoples of the world and all cultures have magical beliefs and rituals, traditions and religions. Ancient Indigenous shamans practiced magick ( shamanism) for over five thousand years.

In Portuguese, we say spell as "Feitiço, it derives from the Latin facticiu, meaning artificial ".

A spell is a kind of reality programming, when you are performing a ritual you are energetically imprinting information in this reality.

Enchantments are prayers, phrases (statements). In ancient Egyptian, they were called Hekau, words of power, and Heka was the name for magic.

Sortileges/ charms are spells, ways of enchantment, "sortilège comes from the Latin sortilegium which means choice of sorts, enchantment." Sortilegium chooses the fate of a person, event, or institution through mystical processes.

How does magick influences someone remotely?

According to my research from occult books, personal experiences, and quantum physics several processes take place simultaneously:

1 -The intention (thought, visualization) of the magus acts on the etheric plane and moves the energies that will produce an effect. In quantum physics, it is the observer effect (Zeno effect) and we can also consider the butterfly effect: A theory first presented in 1960 by a mathematician and meteorologist Edward Lorenz whose study was Deterministic nonperiodic flow: very small variations the initial state of a complex system results in large differences in the outcome.

2 -The magus creates a non-local link to the target person (energetic link if both already live together for a few years, a remote connection between the mirror neurons of each). Magick is essentially a type of remote influence. The magus and target person are entangled in space-time.

3 - Other energies are attracted by the ritual (whether cosmic, spiritual energies or entities who received the ritual offerings or prayers) and this has a cumulative effect and all these energies are creating the desired outcome. Repetitive movement and concentration in a ritual generate Psychokinetic force. Spiritual or psychic entities (as egregores, thought forms) react to psychic fields, that's why they are attracted to magical rituals.

4 -Quantum physics, through the non-locality explains that two particles at distance communicate with each other, a particle can be in one locality or both simultaneously, and every change in a particle can be measured by the other, they act if one single entity when in quantum entanglement. There is no separation between us, we are also interconnected in many ways (by our auras, by our minds, morphogenetic fields as in society, and Akasha, etheric, energetic and informational field).

5 -When the magus operates a ritual he uses its own energy, its intention, visualization, and inserts its programming (intention, purpose, visualization) in the Akashic field around (also known as the noosphere, psychosphere).

6 -Magick is like the law of attraction but combines the law of attraction (co-creation) with the magical practice, but its effects are more agile.

The magus knows that reality is a field of superimposed probability waves.

The magus will have to know how to maintain his mental clarity because the line between madness and sanity is thin.

The key to magical success is learning which variables are the most important, and how to keep them constant.

Our reality can be altered by technological, temporal, psychic and magickal means.

During magick different rituals are employed, many forces, mental focus, visualization of the target (directed energies, vectorized intent) and prayers (statements, affirmations, verbalization of intent, sound is vibration) are involved.

When inside the magick circle it symbolizes the microcosm (self) within the macrocosm (universe).

All material tools serve as psychological support to the subconscious, the subconscious mind is powerful and operates through symbolic language.

When you make a magick ritual, there is an energy exchange, usually you ask for something (have a desire, request to the entities) so to receive something you will have to donate energy (the ritual, candles, herbs, plants, prayers, drinks) all this energy donated with your magnetism, is given to the universe (or entities). With these fluids, they will produce desired effects or perform your request.

Remember: All ritual is an energy exchange.

A spell is an energy transfer directed to the target.

All energy of consciousness vibrates and manifests according to a law or higher principle that rules the structure or body

The geometric shape (blueprint + intention) determines the energy content and vibration within the structure or body.

The more perfect the geometric shape is (blueprint + intent), the more perfect will be the content and harmonized vibration of energy.

Consciousness, energy, life force or spirit is constantly moving and changing. Energy cannot remain stagnant and must follow the structure in a way that creates change.

Magick also operates with the sympathetic resonance.

Hence the name Sympathetic magic (and in Brazil they call simpatias: sympathies, to spells).

    Sympathetic Magic:

The term is a reference to sympathy in the field of physics. In physics, sympathy is the relationship between two bodies or systems by which the action of one lead to the same behavior in the other, the ability of particular vibrations to establish corresponding vibrations in close energy patterns.

This magickal method involves symbolically imitating the desired result.

This process may involve acting on a physical representation of a target or create a physical representation of the result, or recreate the desired goal through movement and art. In this way, the practitioner can cause changes at a distance in time or space.

He sends strong vibrations causing his wishes to materialize as reality.

Likely, that the astral plane (which the mystics and occultists mentioned) is the quantum vacuum. The void is not just in the universe but everywhere, even around us.

The quantum vacuum is the invisible space that surrounds us, where are the virtual particles (which are the antiparticles that pair with their counterparts: particles of all the matter).

For example, occultists said that every object has its astral counterpart, and we humans have an ethereal body, these ethereal doubles are fields of energy emitted by our body particles (which become antiparticles in the astral field = quantum vacuum), more or less.

It is said that in the astral field exist all probabilities, our thought-forms, astral forms and astral entities, our dreams, desires and visualizations emit form-thoughts and egregores which in the astral plane accumulate energy and cause that things happen in the real world (this is reminiscent of the physicists' description of the quantum vacuum, a plane of probabilities, from which virtual particles emerge).

And in Spiritism, they also teach that the visible world is a projection of the invisible world. Can you see the complete puzzle?

When we perform a magical ritual or visualization, the law of attraction, etc., all the energy of the elements and our thought-forms, all that energy emits anti-particles (which on the astral plane or quantum vacuum interact in resonance and oscillation, generating patterns
