Introduction

Seems as if it was just yesterday, initiating the start of something I didn’t know would be elating or a passion. I’ve always enjoyed spelling and reading avidly, but my consistency with poetry had not come to thought. As I sat piqued at the desk, my sixth-grade English teacher mentioned practicing poetry writing and figurative language would be the subject of our lesson. She
