A Fairy Berry Dilemma
Itty Bitty Princess Kitty was in her climbing room when her tummy rumbled. Itty paused. She was practicing high jumps and didn’t want to stop for a snack. Her tummy rumbled again. It didn’t care that she wanted to keep playing.
Itty jumped down and ran toward the kitchen. Until recently, she hadn’t been allowed inside while the food fairies were cooking.
But the head food fairy, Garbanzo, had relaxed her rules and sometimes allowed Itty to come in. Itty hoped this was one of those times.
Hi, Peaches.
Itty waved to a fairy wearing a chef’s hat.
Peaches looked a bit worried. Hi, Princess. Garbanzo isn’t in the best mood.…
It’s okay,
Itty replied. I only want a snack.
Just then, Garbanzo’s squeaky but loud voice echoed through the kitchen.
