    Dragon Slayer - Mary Walsh

Alex typed her last name in the search field on Ancestors.com and clicked Search.

    Bartolucci.

As she explored the site, she found several listings of her last name, wondering if she was related to any of them. She clicked the chat room link and scanned for someone with the same last name as hers whom she could press for possible details about her ancestors. She sent an instant message to Nick Bartolucci.

My name is Alexandra Bartolucci and I was wondering if I could be related to you. I live in Providence and I am a jeweler. My father’s first name is Salvatore and my mother’s first name is Antonia. (We call her Toni.)  Do any of our names sound familiar to you?

My shop is on Waterman Street. Three blocks from Brown University. I’m open from 10-6 daily, except Sundays.

Great! I’ll see you on Friday during my lunch break.

    On Friday, Alex’s stomach
