WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN IN HEAVEN WHEN JESUS COMES IN THE AIR?

Text:  I Cor. 4:1-5 & 2 Cor. 5:9-10

We are starting a series on eschatology, that is, things that will take place in the last days.  YOU may ask:  What makes you think that YOU are a PROPHET; what makes you think that YOU know what's gonna take place in the future?

Well, I'm not gonna tell you what I think, but rather what the BIBLE says as we look in God's Word.  We KNOW these things are gonna take place because GOD says so.

These things weren't meant to SCARE US, as some NUTS do when they misinterpret these great events, in their own hearts & minds instead of looking into the Bible; they are our hope...

Each week we put the title of our songs in the Bulletin.  And one of you could say to the other:  We're gonna sing such & such a song today.  And another could say: How do you know?  And you could answer, Because it’s in the Bulletin, I read it there."

Now sometimes, our plans get changed; I almost brought a message this morning where I would have had to change one of the songs. But God's plans are never changed.

He says that certain things are going to happen & we can be ASSURED that they WILL come to pass.  In this matter of prophesy, we can go to God's bulletin, the BIBLE, & as we study it, we can say:  These things WILL take place because GOD has announced them here in HIS BOOK.

We've all heard many messages on the 2nd coming.  JESUS IS COMING!  THE KING IS COMING BACK.  My message this morning is a little different from most.  We've heard about how He would appear in the air with a shout & how the dead would be caught up from their graves & the living would be caught up from the earth, & of how ALL Christians would be changed as they went up to meet JESUS in the air.

Well, this morning I want us to go one step further.  AFTER this happens, "WHAT'S NEXT?  WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN HEAVEN AFTER JESUS COMES IN THE AIR?

1.  THEY WILL MOVE INTO HEAVEN TOGETHER!

Two great events are going to take place.  The JUDGMENT SEAT OF CHRIST & the MARRIAGE SUPPER of the LAMB.  (And I don't believe these 2 events will take place in the air).  I believe that Christ, WITH His saints, will move into GOD'S HEAVEN & THAT'S where they'll take place.

1.  WHAT A HAPPY CROWD this will be as they move into Heaven.  JESUS will be happy because it was by HIS shed blood that the great multitude of sinners were saved.  He said I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw ALL men unto me.

Well, He was LIFTED UP on the CROSS & He has been drawing people to Him ever since.  NOT all of them have responded to His magnetic power, but ALL of them have been drawn.

Some of YOU may have FELT His drawing POWER & you MAY have resisted Him.  If so, YOU ARE LOST IN YOUR SINS. BUT THANK GOD, in EVERY country under the sun, MULTITUDES of people HAVE surrendered to Him & at THAT time they will ALL be there WITH Him AFTER He comes in the air.

Notice I said:  ALL.  ALL who surrendered to Him.  Some will have gone through that process WE call death & some who were alive WHEN HE CAME.  In that hour not ONE of His saints will be missing.

Churches & preachers BEG God's children to COME to the services at the CHURCH, & no matter HOW LARGE a-CROWD we have, there's ALWAYS some members MISSING.  But folks, when HE COMES WITH A SHOUT & CALLS HIS OWN TO HIMSELF, NOT A SINGLE SOLITARY ONE OF HIS CHILDREN WILL BE MISSING.  (Not ONE will be left behind)

The great multitudes will be happy too.  They've been SAVED!  SOME of them have been
