- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5The life cycle of ants, physical characteristics, and behavior of ants are all described in this book! On each page is a magnifying glass that gives great detail about the topic being talked about which I think is so cool. It is sort of symbolic how the magnifying has deep details, because it sort of "zooms" in on the topic. I think that is very clever. I would use this book for sure when discussing ant life. I would probably cover ants for a few days, probably no longer than a week. We would collect ants and start an ant farm to visually see ant life. We'd also watch the movie "Ants" on the last day of our ant study. I absolutely loved this book!
