    About Me

    I am

    A trusting

    Abiding

    Praising

    Obediently

    Loving

    In everything

    Boredom

No radio, No computer, No TV for a week

This Thirty hour boredom has got me beat

It is only the first day

And I’m lost on what to do

    Why can’t my mom

    Just withhold my food

    But I’ll survive this

    And have no fears

    or shed no tears

    I ‘ll

    Just stay in my room

    And beat these boredom blues

    Little Note

    Trust in Me

    Give me your all

    Talk to me

    And I will call

    I know you’re hurting

    From a broken heart

    But we’ll never depart

    Cancun

Humidity sticks on me like glue

Palm trees sway in the wind

    At night

Lights of brilliant red and green

    Flash before my eyes

    Upon the warm blanket

I fall asleep in my hotel room

    In love with every minute

Then I think about the poor

    I’ve seen in

    the other

    Cancun

    The poor but proud people

    Living beyond my hotel room

    September 11, 2001

I think about the people today in New York City.

No one in my family had anyone injured there

I realize that it could have been

And I feel empathy for them

There were those in the tall towers

    When the planes hit

And now I worry quite a bit

    About what happens next

    What is the aftermath

    My brother

    Could be called to fight

    In a military draft

    The danger

    That hasn’t happened yet

    To all residents

I smell war in the air

    And I hate war

    So much sorrow and suffering

And I say I know many can’t wait

    To punish those terrorists

    And hate leads to

    Horror and War
