Ron Hasselmann

Ron Hasselmann played associate principal trumpet in the Minnesota Orchestra for forty-two years. He also played principal trumpet in the Lyric Opera in Chicago and the Seventh Army Symphony in Europe, and he performed with numerous brass ensembles and bands. Ron taught countless trumpet students at St. Olaf College, at the University of Minnesota, and privately. Ron's stories of life as a performer have delighted friends and acquaintances for decades.
