The Trinity Unveiled: Is This Doctrine, One of Truth? Scriptural Answers May Surprise You.

About this ebook
Do the scriptures show there is a three in one God? Jesus said at John 6: 38 (NIV, bolding added for emphasis) “For I have come down from heaven not to do my will but to do the will of him who sent me.” This scripture describes two wills. If there are two wills, then there must be two beings. If one sends the other, then one is evidently in charge which means they cannot be the same or equal. Many other scriptures concur, such as 1 Corinthians 11: 3 (NIV) that reads, “… the head of Christ, is God.”
The book highlights the scriptures used for support of this doctrine and includes the contexts that surround those same verses to show that the Bible does not teach a triune type of God anywhere. This book offers over one hundred scriptures that combine to prove the falseness of the teaching of the Trinity. Besides more than enough scriptural evidence, the book also brings into focus how other Bible versions render those same “Trinity” scriptures and dives into the history of this doctrine. When these things are all exposed, the Trinity fails to deliver as truth.
Cass Bernard
Cass Bernard has spent much of his life in the ministry. As a minister, he has conducted hundreds of group and home Bible studies and has given multiple Biblical discourses. He has been an ardent student of the Bible for over 40 years. This author has a strong love and belief in God and in his Son, Jesus Christ. He does not believe however, that there are three equal beings who are all somehow, the same God. He lays out a strong scriptural argument against the doctrine of the Trinity.

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
There are certain people in my life that have been a strong influence in my life. There are others but I would like to focus on my wife and my two parents.
My wife Lisa is so important to me. I am sure she has felt neglected at times with all the hours I have spent on this book. I see her working hard much of every day taking care of our home and a disabled child. Through the hardships of life, she has always stood strong with me. She is without a doubt, my soulmate. I love her with all my heart. There is a scripture in Proverbs that I cannot help but think of when we are together. (NIV) Proverbs 31: 10 that says, A wife of noble character who can find? She is worth far more than rubies.
I hope we have many more years together on this earth.
Secondly, I want to acknowledge and thank my parents who brought me up in a Christian home and instilled a deep love of God within my heart. My father took the lead in consistently taking the time to read the scriptures to his family. Numerous hours were spent helping us know the many Bible stories, the life of Jesus, and the writings of the apostles. He did as Deuteronomy 6: 6-7 says,
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.
(NIV) Deuteronomy 6: 6-7
My father was not a rich man, he was an electrician and a minister of GOD in the church he associated with. He saw to it that his family had the necessities they needed in life. He was a good man. I lost my father in 2019 to Alzheimer’s. We all, miss him very much. My father and mother both, gave their time and energy to see that their children were prepared for whatever trials life might bring. I will never be able to repay the time, energy, and love they gave to us. I will never forget the special times I spent with him and my mother.
CHAPTER 1
The Search For Truth
As I write this book, I cannot help but think of this scripture found in Proverbs.
and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
(NIV) Proverbs 2: 4,5
If you are looking to find truth about a biblical subject, it certainly can be likened to searching for a hidden treasure. You search many times for that truth by digging through wrong places. The scripture above says, if you are persistent however, and keep searching as you would for a hidden treasure, then you should find the truth you are after. This truth should include finding the truth about a doctrine they call a mystery
, named the Trinity.
Finding the truth about the Trinity can be difficult. There is much diversity in religion today. The different Christian denominations number in the thousands. Our bibles number in the hundreds with all the versions and revisions to select from. When we cross check one Bible and or religion to another, we find multiple differences. Where does truth lie within the mountains of these beliefs and materials that are available? Searching for truth is like searching for that needle in a haystack.
The Trinity is painted by most of our churches, that God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, are all equal and somehow, the same God. See how the online Merriam Webster Dictionary defines this doctrine.
Online Merriam Webster Dictionary
Trinity – the unity of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead according to Christian dogma.
Dogma - a belief or set of beliefs that is accepted by the members of a group without being questioned or doubted.
The Trinity doctrine according to the online Merriam Webster Dictionary is defined as, the unity of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as three persons in one Godhead
and then they add, according to Christian dogma
. Our Christian churches stand behind this doctrine at all costs. Even though they cannot explain how a three in one God can be, we are told not to question and believe it as truth with faith.
Questions do arise. What does it mean to be three persons, but all three somehow in one Godhead? How does this make them all the same God? What is a Godhead? Where in the Bible, does it say that the Holy Spirit is God? Where is one scripture that tells us Jesus is the same as his Father in heaven? Does God split into three different entities? Do they act as a committee? How do you explain, the Trinity?
The truth is, there is not one scripture anywhere that defines this doctrine. There are a few scriptures used to support it, but each of them, do not really define a three in one God at all. The scriptures shown could read, in other ways. In our Bibles, we do not even find
