Revival: It’s Time to Live Again
()
About this ebook
Has the passion faded in your relationship with Jesus Christ?
You may have once had that close relationship with Jesus, with your faith growing by the day. But then that day happened or that year occurred.
Tragedy may have left you thinking that God has abandoned you, or you may have simply drifted from the close relationship with Christ you once knew, or you may even think you’ve committed a sin too terrible for God to forgive. But you can be restored.
Bill Brewster, a Bible teacher and proud member of Northview Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas, urges everyone to embrace a revival in Christ. We all need to be restored to the rich and satisfying life God promised and live again.
In this book, he invites you to restore your relationship with Jesus and rekindle the fire of your faith. Push aside the lies that Satan bombards you with and return to God.
Let Him restore you. Let Him revive you.
Bill Brewster

He and his wife, Lori, proudly call Northview Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas, their church home, where he has taught an adult Bible study for eight years. During that time, God gave Bill a passion for leading others to a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. He enjoys vacationing with Lori in mountain cabins and playing golf with his oldest brother, Russell.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Writing this book has been one of God’s greatest blessings in my life. Through His prompting, God has guided me through this book-writing process in every step. From initial inspiration to resources, He faithfully guided each stage, overwhelming me with insight and encouragement. Along the way, He placed numerous key individuals in the middle of the development of this book to assist me.
The encouragement and prayers from my Northview Baptist Church family were like adrenaline in my veins. Each word of support, as well as the thought of many friends praying for me and this project, gave me the strength to finish this challenge God provided me. I appreciate the Voyager Adult Bible Class at Northview for letting me teach God’s Word for the last eight years. The people of this class are more than friends; they are my extended family. Susie and Tim Corbett are longtime friends to Lori and me. Their encouragement and advice in the early stages of this book were tremendous blessings. A special thank you goes to Jack Wyman, the most knowledgeable American historian I know. He and his wife Beth have supported my teaching and cheered me forward for many years. As a result of his friendship, Jack has guided me to a deeper faith in Christ and greatly influenced the style in which I write.
Further appreciation goes to those who actively helped form this book, from the rough manuscript to the finished product. Teresa Wells spent countless hours reviewing my work and providing insightful edits. Matt Shannon dedicated his time to create the cover’s heartbeat image. And, of course, I want to offer a great deal of applause for Westbow Press publishers. Working with the Westbow team was a joyful and blessed experience.
Finally, I need to acknowledge my pastor, Ken Wells. Ken is a steady compass pointing not only Northview Baptist Church but the surrounding community toward the loving, faithful arms of Jesus Christ. He is more than my pastor. Ken is my mentor and my friend. His leadership and example have developed me and inspired me to step out into things of Christ that in years past I would have never considered. Seeing Ken’s passion for leading people to a relationship with Jesus Christ, and restoring those who have fallen away from their faith, was a driving motivation for me to write this book.
For my beautiful wife Lori
You are the greatest blessing the Lord
has ever bestowed upon
me. Seeing your love for me amazes me. Seeing your faith every
day inspires me to walk even closer with Christ. Seeing your
passion for the needs of others challenges me to step away from
my selfish ambitions and be the hand of Christ to this world.

AUTHOR’S NOTES
Early in 2020, I taught a series on restoring our relationship with Jesus Christ to my adult Bible school class at Northview Baptist Church in Lewisville, Texas. God placed the word revival
squarely between my eyes. I continued to feel prompting from the Holy Spirit to research this word in more detail, which eventually motivated me to write a summary of what God placed on my heart. The prompting to write about revival continued and resulted in this book.
My continual vision of revival resides at personal, community, and national levels. There is an individual, maybe you, who desperately needs Jesus Christ back in the center of their life. For whatever reason,
