Born near Manchester UK I attended Upholland boarding school. From there I went into further education at Liverpool John Moores University studying fine art and art history. The journey for poetry didn’t end there. Having studied the Bible profusely for many years joining a monastery seemed inevitable and the right choice in life. It was studying & singing the Psalms that gave birth to a passion of writing poetry. I have now been writing ever since, each day and every day.

Into the night Nightfall hunts.

Looking for her prey.

She can call her own.

Young and old,

Their fate she holds.

Weak men hear the warnings of her existence.

But they put up a poor resistance.

From the land of rock and ice.

She comes like an evil breath of life.

But before she takes you,

She shows herself.

Legend says she’s very beautiful.

A fallen angel.

Beware of beauty with an evil stare.

She will become your nightmare.

With a heart as cold and unfeeling.

She can hear all men’s hearts beating.

The coming of their hidden fears.

The truth of her nightmares,

Will soon be here.

When the hour of your nightmare strikes.

There’s no way of breaking the hour glass.

The nightmare will stay with you.

It comes not as a stranger or a friend.

It will be with you till your life span ends.

A woman of darken shame.

She will first ask for your name.

She brought a bite,

Like a wild cat.

She would strike,

When the time seems right.

She wears garments of black.

Skins of a black cat.

She has beauty,

Mortal men have never seen before.

When you catch sight of her,

Your soul has been beaten.

Your heart is taken.

Her evil strikes and takes your heavenly beliefs.

You find there is no relief.

She is created to be man’s weakness.

She uses this for her pleasure.

She is a night creature.

When she finishes her time.

She returns to the night,

From whence she came.

To strike again,

In the world of
