About this ebook

Chakras Made Easy will provide the reader, in a reader friendly language, an insight of what chakras really are and how they can be a useful tool for healing a person physically, emotionally and spiritually. Ancient civilizations such as those in India (especially the north), Middle East and China had discovered this wonderful gift thousands of years ago. They realized that chakras are part of the energy system just as our aura is. Ancient folks had realized that Mother Earth has given them crystal stones to cleanse the chakras and also through meditation. This book will provide an in-depth knowledge and appreciation of what chakras can do for us.

    About The Autho

    Foreword

Heartiest congratulations to Mr. Khoo Boo Eng for his success in coming out with his fourth book – Chakras Made Easy. He has travelled to many places to enhance the knowledge of chakras and learn the many different ways of meditation. He has reached a very high level in practicing meditation and is now a sifu (teacher/instructor) to many students of meditation.

The commendable point of this book is that he has taken the effort to present it in a reader-friendly language the details of the many characteristics, colors, shapes and features of the chakras. The explanation of the processes and different types of meditations is equally eye opening – simple and easy to follow. The writing is clear, precise and concise. This book is indeed very lively and interesting. I could hardly put it down until I come to the end. Mr. Khoo is an English-educated Chinese intellectual residing in Penang, Malaysia. Being a Chinese who can hardly read Mandarin, I think he has done a good job.

His three other books, ‘ A Simple Approach to Taoism – Of Gods and Deities’, A Simple Approach to Taoism – Festivals, Worship and Rituals’ and ‘Understanding Chinese Culture in Relation to Tao’ are now internationally recognized.

I am indeed very honored to write the Foreword for this book and hope more people will be able to learn and practice meditation for healing purposes (physical and emotional); for themselves and for global peace in the world.

    Introduction

The word chakra comes from Sanskrit which means wheel or disc. There are seven main chakras in the body in a straight line from the anal to the top of the head. Each chakra will spin like a disc in an opposite direction from the previous one. The chakra energy will spin anticlockwise to draw in energy from the external world into the body. It will spin clockwise to pull energy out of the body to the external.

Chakras will probably exist in the bodies of all living creatures. But chakras cannot be scanned or seen on an x-ray. All we know is that chakras are part of the energy system just as the aura is.
