About this ebook

This manuscript is dedicated to my mother, the late minister Rose Marie Johnson.

This book does not bear any reflection on any given person or place. The contents are my own personal perspectives with regard to the Bible—expressions, accounts, expectations, inspirations, and anticipated positive outcomes. The poems are short and long stories. They are simple and relatable. In addition, they’re based solely on my personal experiences, beliefs, events, and hypotheticals.

So when you read this manuscript, remember that these poems and stories reflect years of events related to hardships, heartbreaks, and triumphs. However, with the help of God, prayers, doctors, caring people, and grace, I was able to recover and fight my way back. The road ahead is still long, but my Lord and Savior will be with me every step of the way.

Saved by Grace - Rosetta Johnson

Do You See What I See

    image1.jpg

Watching the universe through a keyhole

reveals stars new and old, and up close,

you can see the majestic hands of

    God’s creativity.

The magnificence of the master’s creations

can be seen in the sky by many nations.

The minilights in the universe called

    stars make up galaxies. They

    light up the sky brilliantly.

    The cosmic structure’s vitality gives

off everlasting energy. His planets are

aligned in space. The earth, God created

    for his human race.

The universe is a beautiful sight to see,

    God’s magnificent cosmology. The vast

    space, a spectacular landscape, abundantly

    speaks God’s wisdom spirit and

    unity while connecting all things

    throughout his galaxy.

Now do you see what l see? There’s a

light shining clearly. It’s finite miles

away, near the Milky Way. I hope

and pray to be there someday.

Do you see it now? It’s the

    last stop in the galaxy

    called Heaven’s Way.

    Supernatural Supreme Being (God)

    image2.jpg

    He who walks among

the unseen is a unique spirit. He is

    a supernatural supreme being, and

his name is God. He is who

    he is unequivocally, the

divine master of the universe. God

    is divinely majestic, almighty,

    seraphic, holy, all-seeing, all-

    knowing, omniscient, powerful,

    and eternal.

He has no beginning and no end, just

    an everlasting extraterrestrial being.

He’s the cosmological engineer of the

    gravitationally bound planets in the

    solar system and the landscaper

    of the universe. God

is the inferno that blazes the

    sun with each sunrise

and the energizer that lights up the moon

and stars at night. He shows divine

    love and favoritism toward heaven,

his faithful, the earth, and mankind.

God is the designer and architect of

all things. He’s righteous, a healer,

    a waymaker, a father to

the fatherless, a mother to the

motherless, a friend to the lonely, and

a great comforter for those who

    just need him near. God

    combats evil and darkness that

wants to consume and harm what

he loves just to break his spirit.

    God is holy and upright,

    capable of love and sharing

his love. He wants us to repent

of our sins so we can be saved,

    because he loves us and

wants to be with us throughout all

eternity in his new heaven. He wants us

to remember his sacrifice. God loves the

world he created and mankind in spite of

    the devil’s manipulation and

    mankind’s weaknesses.

God wants us to know his purpose

for our lives. We all have been given a

purpose for being here according to

    his plan. God’s primary calling

for all of us is to know him and be known

by him. O Lord, you have

searched me, and you know me.

I will present my body as

a living sacrifice to carry out

your will with the gift you have

given to me until you return.

    Red Velvet Sunset

    image3.jpg

    Red-velvet sunsets are always passed

over for the morning sunrise. It’s

    beautifully landscaped across

    the morning sky. The color

    rivalry between the two

    skies will never be won,

being that both were designed by the

    hands of God. How magnificent

    for our eyes.

The raging evening sky sends the

ball of fire below the horizon—

    but not before the sun’s

blazing heat gives off the most

    breathtaking shades of extraordinary

    colors. The evening skyline explodes

    with brilliant red satin, layered

    in hues of purple

    and lavender. There’s a glimmer

    of marigold orange signaling

    the sun is done for

    the day.

    A few small marshmallow clouds

resist the heat and blend in with the

    clouds and marvelously melt away.

The evening sky now stands alone,

proud to put on a show of its own—

    no competition. Its rival, the

    sun, is completely

gone, but the sun’s heat dispels into the

    atmosphere and is smothered out

by this charismatic red-velvet sunset sky.
