About this ebook

Dare to Declare combines the instructions of daily devotionals and declarations to empower a closer walk with God. Proverbs 21:18 (KJV) states that “Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” What we utter out of our mouth determines whether we abound or become bound. At times, life can become extremely overwhelming and so heavy that it weighs us down. Our emancipation is produced by our communication. If we don’t possess the faith to “say it”, we will lack the enduring faith to “see it”. The Bible instructs us to “shout unto to God with the voice of Triumph” (Psalms 47:7 KJV). Your victory is in your voice. Dare to Declare quips the reader to navigate through life’s journey on a daily basis and overcome every obstacle that stands in their way.

During the 1980’s and 90’s, there was a television show on Nickelodeon called Double Dare. The object of the game was to dare you to do things you normally wouldn’t do. The word dare means “to be challenged or have the courage to do something”. This book is designed to dare you to possess the undeniable boldness to declare victory over every area of your life. After reading Dare to Declare, you will be challenged to never settle for mediocracy or defeat.

    Conclusion

    This book is

dedicated to the memory of my grandmother, Grace Rita Procaccini (aka Grandma Grace). She was the first person to take me to church as a child and taught me how to pray by reciting the Lord’s prayer. Her affectionate love visibly manifested an invisible God. God bless her memory and her legacy continues to live in our hearts.

    FOREWORD

"You have made us for yourself, O Lord, and our hearts are

restless until they rest in you." -St. Augustine of Hippo

Since the beginning of time, God has always used vessels who have a desire to please him and not perform for him. In a world inundated with superficial relationships and trendy timelines, the need for biblical truth is greater now than ever before. As a purveyor of the Gospel with prophetic precision and acute practicality, the ministry of Elder Todd Procaccini is in a class all by itself. To know him is to love him as he embodies what he preaches and shares it with everyone. In this book, you have been treasured with the words of a seasoned wordsmith, and a guide for spiritual formation and consistent Christian growth.

Enclosed in these pages are truths that transform us into the love, life and liberty of Christ where we live, work and play. One of the things I admire about Elder Todd’s ministry is his transparency. Enclosed in these pages are nuggets of wisdom and revelation that come from his personal prayer time and his reflections as an itinerant evangelist and a lover of humanity.

In essence, I believe that this book should not just be read but digested and dissected. Many sociologists would agree that majority of our self-talk today is negative. Let’s reverse that trend by speaking the life giving words of the scriptures over every area and facet of our lives. His Word still works! Thank you Elder Todd for reminding us of this and staying true to the faith once for all delivered to the saints.

I dare you to declare and watch what God does!

One of the most powerful tools given to humans, is the ability to articulate. The Bible conveys that life and death are in the power of the tongue. Too often we take this tool for granted by utilizing our words for everything other than speaking victory in our very own lives. Elder Todd Procaccini is a champion of victorious speaking and living. He has provided an excellent resource for shifting our voice to one of life and victory by declaration.

Nestled within this manuscript is the roadmap to establishing a daily lifestyle of positive and uplifting speech. Elder Todd uses practical examples to bring to light the power and purpose of declaration. Filled with the Word of God, each day of declaration catapults off the page and becomes life.

It is my assertion that one cannot read this book and not experience a palpable difference in their lives, based upon the words proceeding from their own mouths. Thank you, Elder Todd, for being divinely inspired to create such a work.

After examining this great resource, it is my sincere hope that we all will Dare 2 Declare!

    INTRODUCTION

Growing up as a kid, I loved playing sports. The two sports I particularly loved to play were football and basketball. Athletes that play these sports are known for being tall but unfortunately, that did not fit the architectural plan that God designed for my life. What I lacked in height, I made up for in confidence. You can measure a person’s height, but one thing you can’t measure is a person’s heart. It is out of the abundance of our heart, that our mouth begins to speak. With all of the setbacks I have experienced in my life (death of my mother and stepmother, dropping out of college, getting fired from my dream job), I have learned that a setback is a beautiful opportunity for a comeback.

The most beautiful thing you can wear is confidence - Blake Lively.

Super Bowl LIV just took place in Miami between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers. The game was nothing short of amazing (Not if you are a 49ers fan 42038.png ) with back and forth grit, competition, and determination. The Kansas City Chiefs not only won their first championship in 50 years but became the first team to do it while being down by double digits in each playoff game. They were losing by what seemed as an insurmountable deficit.

Sports teaches us a lot about life. Just because a team is experiencing a deficit, doesn’t mean that they are defeated. The Kansas City Chiefs put this notion into practice. In life, we all experience some form of deficit whether it is related to our family, our health, our career, our goals, or our personal convictions. How does one come back from experiencing a deficit? At the end of the day, we all love a good Come back story, right?

All the world is full of suffering; it is also full of overcoming - Helen Keller.

Just because we have failed does not mean we are a failure. It takes faith to move forward in the midst of experiencing failure. Jesus admonished Peter about faith and failure……… And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren (Luke 22:31-32 KJV). Notice how Jesus does not pray that Peter does not fail, but that his faith doesn’t fail.

I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I’ve lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed. - Michael Jordan

When we fill our heart with positive affirmations, our vocabulary will transform our mentality. What we say determines what we see, and what we see determines what we seize. The power of death and life are determined by the words that come out of your mouth. I dare you to declare every dream, vision, and purpose that has been placed in your heart, mind, soul, and spirit. Your declaration is producing manifestation. Your moving from sound to sight. I dare you to start declaring!

    DAY 1

    DOMINION AND AUTHORITY

Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity

have dominion over me (Psalm 119:133 KJV).

Authority is the right to control, command, or determine. When we allow God to order our steps in His Word, we begin to walk in the authority or control of God’s purpose. Most car crashes are attributed to drivers losing control of the wheel. When our steps are being ordered by our flesh, emotions, and hurt, we begin to spiritually hydroplane out of control. Authority grants the believer to exercise divine dominion. David said, You appoint them (mankind) to rule over your creation; you have placed everything under their authority (Psalm 8:6 NET). Sin can easily take control and cause us to lose the authority we have been called to walk in.

Adam was given the authority to name every living creature. The command is granted through connection. Adam’s relationship with God gave him authority over God’s creation. Everything you are involved in was created by God—your family, your spouse, your children, your job, your health, and your enemies because, The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof, the world and they that dwell therein (Psalm 24:1 KJV). We walk in our authority through a connection (relationship) with the Creator.

If Christ dwells in us, then we have the heavenly DNA to walk in our God-given authority. Jesus taught as one that possessed authority, and not as the
