The holiday season is a special time to be with family and share stories-both present and the past. This story was written in 1990 as a gift for family and friends. It contained family references, which made the story more personal. While working full time and writing on the side it took a year to finish this Christmas story. It was submitted for publication to magazines as well as local publications where she lived, but it was not published. The story remained tucked away with the thought of publishing it again someday. This story has come full circle: typed on paper, re-written on a laptop, published, and now going worldwide on social media. Publishing this story is a hope and a wish that it travels to many different places bringing laughter and delight to others this holiday season!
